Datacenter confusion

I recently re-subscribed to Shadow with Power Upgrade in Washington DC, but found after activation that my instance was placed in another distant datacenter.  Support quickly identified the issue, informed me that Washington DC had no capacity for the Power Upgrade, and refunded my subscription costs.

My question is, the website still shows that I can subscribe to the Power Upgrade, but how can I tell if its actually going to put it in the right datacenter?

Sadly @Powell

Website issues do happen.

As of present power upgrades are released in batches on a monthly basis and when they sell out, they sell out. As for your question the only way to know is to re-order or contact support and see what they have to say on the matter. -Gelgoog

I did reach out to support, and they sent me here.  Well, they sent me to a webpage with a list of social media options (https://linktr.ee/shadow_official?utm_source=Support) that included this site.

I’ve looked everywhere in the list, and can’t find any tweets, posts, or other updates around availability and how to ensure that when I do see availability on the website that it is for the correct datacenter.

Since this is the official forum, I figured I would ask here.

Is anyone from Shadow able to chime in here?  Should I keep pressing support, or can you point me toward the official location where this is tracked?

Just doing my daily check in.  Any updates on this?

You don’t need to “check in” daily… It may count as spam.
