I have been on a ‘waiting list’ for 7 months now. If i dont get a definitve satisfying answer till the next month i will file charges of fraud with the police and sue to get all the money back i paid to be on those so called ‘waiting lists’.
So its March. Will Ultra/Infinite activations start in CA (US) ? We’ve been waiting for those for 2 years now. Any news ? Confirmations ? I kept my Boost for two years, even though it can't provide 40fps on my screen resolution, just to be able to update to higher tier. And please don't reply with “waiting list” and “faq” answer, we all aware and signed up already for those waiting lists for two years now. Just waiting to see that email.

I mean, why am I paying for something I never received?
I wanted to trial their service last June I signed up but then it said there is a waiting list. 6 months later, who remembers 6 months ago, they started taking money from my account, I only found out in march when reviewing my bank statement.I asked for Fairness as I did not use the service and did not even know they had activated my service. I asked kindly several times for fairness as I did not know more consume anything. Which if someone takes your money without your knowledge and you got nothing in return, that is plain virtual stealing.They where not even willing to give one or 2 months refund as a compromise.I paid for a lot of subscription services in my time and this disregard for their client and unfairness, not even Microsoft does (they refunded me in the past).In a world where we all have multiple subscription services it hard to keep track, especially if 6 months later Shadow decides to active my account!!Very disappointed for such unethical business practices.
Hi,I'm a Shadow Boost subscriber in Europe and I'm on the annual plan. I'm getting a bit bored at having to manage disk space so I've been thinking about buying more storage. I was wondering if I was to buy more, does that tie me into paying for it until the end of my annual billing period, or is it a monthly thing? I searched around and couldn't find anything that confirmed what would happen one way or another.

Issue:I recently moved and got a new credit card (same state and city). Unfortunately my previous payment was declined so I am trying to fix payments by adding a new card. Reproduction:Login to shadow Go to My Account > Subscription Updating Payment info (Error is returned) Go to Billing Info Click Edit Update billing address Click confirmExpected:Correct tax information is displayed 8.0875% → 8.0875% (since moving within same city) Billing information is updated which then allows me to update my payment informationActual:Updating payment info gives me an error about my address being incorrect Updating billing info shows incorrect tax information (see attached screenshot) Confirming billing info results in an error that my address could not be updatedTax info is incorrect, confirming results in error seen at bottom Further Research:The API response from trying to update my billing suggests it can’t update my billing until my payment is fixed The payment UI causes an error explaining
Hi been using shadow on and off for about 2 years now. I was recently banned from the service. I use the service for work and keep the shadow running 24/7 I did this since about December up until last week when my account was banned. It shows I was banned for not allowing the system update/ keeping it on and not shutting it off. I was wondering if I can get this fixed or unbanned cause I use the service for work.
The FAQ says that California and New York datacenter users will need to back up their data. If you are in the California or New York datacenter, … You[r] data will be reset during the migration, so make sure to backup your hard drive prior (you won't be able to do it during the migration).Please note: migrations in the California & New York datacenters require a hard drive reset because your account is transfered to a new datacenter. However, the FAQ also states additional storage will remain intact during migration.Your additional storage remains intact as an add-on to your base subscription. Will California and New York datacenter migrations reset customers’ main drives but preserve their additional storage?
I canceled my subscription more than 48 hrs in advance of my billing date and was billed regardless. I contacted support and received a response of “We don’t see a cancel request on our end, but if you’re adamant about canceling you can do so at any time.” The cancellation shows on my account page but with a wrong date. Is my only option to dispute this charge?
I just had my referral code AND discount deactivated for unknowingly abusing a rule. Shared it in an oculus quest VR group, even people I play with and it was deactivated without warning regardless of the fact that 70% of my referrals are friends and family. So my advice is only share your code via private messaging to friends and family. I was frustrated by this because on the referral page it literally says "X NUMBER OF REFERRALS UNTIL FREE SHADOW!!" but nothing about rules of abuse.
I know you guys are limited by the resources you have and covid etc But life has taught me there are few problems that the introduction of cold hard cash cant solve..As such I suggest adding a 1 off payment option too those members like myself who really dont like the idea of waiting 8 months lets say £50 to get it done within a week or something.
