I recently re-subscribed to Shadow with Power Upgrade in Washington DC, but found after activation that my instance was placed in another distant datacenter. Support quickly identified the issue, informed me that Washington DC had no capacity for the Power Upgrade, and refunded my subscription costs.My question is, the website still shows that I can subscribe to the Power Upgrade, but how can I tell if its actually going to put it in the right datacenter?

in the my orders tab it says i have 0 orders but i pre ordered boost for the ny datacenter on may 2nd. and when i try to log onto the shadow app it says you are still getting activated but when i look at the subscription and billing tab it says that i am going to pay or something but i cant log on. if this is correct then it isnt intuitive to me and im confused but if it isnt working properly then help
No 'My Shadow' tab in account page for Ultra and Infinite
Hi, For Ultra and Infinite users there is no 'My Shadow' tab on account page. Because of that it is not possible to reset my Shadow by myself. It's also not possible to add additional storage and a Shadow Ghost when these are available. Could you please tell me when this will be be possible? Thanks, Gentle
Operation Reboot - already moved?
I joined Operation Reboot with reset of the VM option when it was announced, then i got a mail that i will be moved on the 18.02.2022.On the 18.02.2022 i got another email that they gonna start on this day and it will take a bit of time until mid march, to migration everyone.Now i noticed that my Shadow has an german IP which is located near Frankfurt am Main, so i think i already got migrated to Limburg?Then there are two other questions if i was already migrated:Why wasn’t my Shadow reseted as announced?Will there be additional Storage available after everybody got migrated?

I'm going to be honest I'm a little bit mad and a little confused so this might read as incomprehensible apologise I just purchased it today 2021. After purchasing it it said that I had to wait for an email to be notified I'll be set up now I install Windows operating systems on computer servers every other day I figured that most giving a hugely away would take an hour. After few hours have gone by I still have not gotten any mail I decided to log in on the website and look around and now I'm seeing that you took my money but you're not going to give it to me for months it didn't say pre-order it said purchase it didn't say that I had to wait or anything I live in Iowa I chose the Iowa setting give me the nearest one which should be Chicago I want and looked up the Chicago I typed in is a keyword it's all Chicago Towers will not be available for basically two more months my money and having me pay you monthly bill for nothing? What's really going on here if you're not giving people wh
Shadow for iPad OS unable to connect after “Waiting for Video”
I am trying to connect to my Shadow via the app for iPad OS. After waiting on loading screen with the message “Waiting for Video” for a minute or so, the app is always returning to the app home page. I have tried shutting down my Shadow, waiting for ~15 minutes, and then attempting to reconnect, only to achieve the same results. I tried troubleshooting my internet connection based on the help article here: https://help.shadow.tech/hc/en-gb/articles/360011196119, though maybe this is out of date? All of my results were above the minimum requirements. I’m not getting any error message from the app, so I have no idea what is causing the connection to fail. Any advice here short of a full Shadow factory reset would be much appreciated.

I cancelled my account in March. In June I got suspicious e-mails about validation codes. I figured they were phising attempts and did not click on anything. Then I got a change of e-mail notice. Again didn't click and just ignored it. Then I check my credit card and it has been charged twice. Shadow is asking me to send them a picture of my drivers license and a piece of mail for proof of identification…. on the same e-mail that clearly was compromised for the person to reactivate the Shadow account. I’ve asked them to cancel my account and they won’t. They said I had to log in and do it….so I tried and got the “oops something went wrong message” Asked for a phone number and they said one doesnt exist.. Please be careful with using this service.
How do I contact support, not responding to my emails?
I have emailed shadow multiple times about cancelling my subscription since I have loss of income due to covid. My subscription is a one year contract, but I hope cancelling it was a possibility. Please email me and let me know if this is can be done. Also I been trying to email shadow since the first month of service and like I said before no response. If anyone can help me that would be appreciated.
Shadow shouldn’t be raising it’s prices if the service isn’t getting better. They say that they are constantly under maintenance & moving towers into new buildings. If 8/10x i get on i can’t play anything because my shadow is performing so poorly then why is the price of shadows services rising? It’s only gotten worse since i’ve had it. When i was paying less, it worked better. Idk, doesn’t make much sense to me. Seems like they are avoiding speaking to me about this as well, every time that i create a ticket they try to troubleshoot & avoid answering any questions i really have. Other than that i only get apologies. One more thing… There still isn’t a new version of the shadow app for the new version of mac (idk about windows). I’ve been using the shadow beta app since summer 2021. It’s smells like disrespect
I have a couple Questions. Preferred Data Center, Activation times for Ohio, etc.
So, I ordered my Shadow Boost last week and I was told I’d receive it before March 1st, 2022. I’ve seen some other people say that this time isn’t correct in their state so I was wondering if that date is accurate for Ohio users (where I live). Now, I just mentioned I live in Ohio, but I live VERY VERY close (20-30 minutes or so) from West Virginia and Pennsylvania. I don’t know if it would benefit me to say I live in one of those states or just say that I live in Ohio. I am right on the edge and I don’t know if it will benefit me with connection/activation time if I were to chose another state. Thank you for your time for my somewhat long read.

Good day. I bought the shadow boost in 22 of may. And i know because of pandemic the numbers of people ativating are much bigger and the work staff probaly is not a full speed. Only want to know the prognostic of the atctivation time because the only answer we have is late summer or the month of august.
Will Florida ever get a data center?
Florida, the third most populated state in the USA, gets its service from its next door neighbor New York (sarcasm). Ping times for most are above 40ms and many, myself included, no longer subscribe to Shadow because of it. Years ago, someone from Shadow said a data center for Florida was planned. Will Florida ever get a data center that could service the South East of the USA?
shadow power upgrade pre order
I got today an e-mail with my activation link to get shadow power upgrade.but when I click the link it wil zend me to internet I come at a page where I can select two options 1 shadow normal 2 shadow poweri select number 2next it Will ask me to sighn up an accaunt or log in if I already have an accauntso I try to sighn in to my accaunt then it Will say legacy accaunt cant do it by this wat the have to go to page : and with a link press here I do press here and then it goes to my normal accaunt page where I cant do annything please can you help me beacause I have ontging on a pre order that wont work. plus I pre order something and then it wont work so why pre order?plus I cant make a new accaunt because of the payment methot you can only chose for credit or debit but whe use iDeal in the netherlands.Please help me
Faster Activation speed
Ok so since corona has let down on most stuff and things are opening back up does that mean ill received my shadow ive been waiting for 3 days now and i seen on you post that it will take 5 to 7 weeks i cannot wait that long because school is right there in august so please let us all receive are shadow a lot faster i do not want to wait on my money to get back that will take 14 days so please do your service faster.
Data Center transfer
Hello,Do it’s possible to have my account/data transferred to Montreal data centre? It’s closer to me than Washington, D.C., Do Montreal is reserved for future Canadian consumers? Final Fantasy XIV is a bit laggy for constant 59 fps. I had a message that my connection is laggy (I got more than required as hardware and internet). The actual Shadow issues is the cause? Thanks,
