I purchased Shadow Boost on July 18 (available at August 2020), but I can't see any important information about the "Pre-order" tag in my account and he show me the error that he can’t get my pre order data. and I don't receive any update Mails about my pre-order.I just want to make sure that I have not been forgotten. Is there the possibility for more detailed information? Thanks for help :)
Hi. I ordered my shadow boost yesterday, and got an estimated delivery time august 2020. Im wondering if this is going to happen. I see a lot of people ordering long before i did have and estimated delivery around the end of the year. If that is so, that amount of waiting is not acceptable, it seems the delivery times are really a big mess.
I have 2 things to ask anyone that knows what is happening right now.my page it says that my account will be activated on “august 2020” does anyone know if there is an exact day or week that it will be activated. I have been waiting for months on end and really wanted my account back like the good old days with shadow why is there no weekly update for this week (3rd of august 2020) it always shows up on the Monday of each week but nothing showed up this week.thank you
Possible to transfer data center (if OK with having data erased)? If not, possible to "pause" annual subscription?
Hi all -Happy Friday. I work full-time in New York City. However, for the past month I have returned to my hometown in California and will be here for a few more months. Evidently, my connection to the New York data center isn’t A+ give the distance. Has anyone had experience with transfering data centers? I am OK with having my data wiped. If data transfers are not possible, has anyone had experience with having their Shadow subscription “paused” until I can use the service again? Appreciate any help here. Thanks!
Hi, I have been billed for the first month, but I do not have access. I received an email stating my account will not be ready until Sept. I am fine with that, but its not making sense that I will be billed for time I am unable to use the service. If I am unable to use the service until sometime in Sept, it appears I will be billed for 2-3 months of service before the service is ready for me to use. Please clarify further about advance billing. Thanks
I know it says “End of summer 2020”, but does this mean August? September? Could it be tomorrow? The boost upgrades seem to either have already been done or are within the next week-ish. So, should we be expecting to wait much longer for ultra/infinite? I ordered in October 2019
Hello all I would like to know if there are any talks or is there anything in place about PayPal being a payment method in the UK? I don’t mind using my debit card, but it would be a lot better if I used PayPal to pay my payments? Also some places already have that option, but I can’t see that option in the UK though. In regards to your above decision to close the weekly activation updates, I want to point out as a customer I feel this is a mistake. You are taking a BIG step backwards, putting me back in the dark AGAIN and making me want to cancel my pre-order and just buy a PC! I’m sure there are others feeling the same way. Keeping us informed of progress through activation is key to assurance that it is coming. Publishing this information weekly was refreshing and open and honest! Ok, I should probably have read this forum before ordering. I'm living in London and have just ordered. Didn't know about the issues that people were having with delays and that the activation thread has now been locked by shadow.tech. Also found out that even though they're doing UK sales, the data centre is in another country… Of the guys in the UK that did manage to get an activation - How are UK bods finding the service / latency?
So, I'm a bit confused here. Have pre ordered shadow in London. (Ordered 18 Jul. Says….Oct? delivery...wow) What's all this talk about data centres. When I joined the forum it made me choose a data centre...but there didn't seem to be one for the UK / London. Does this mean that my shadow when it's eventually delivered will run out of France or Amsterdam….isn't the latency going to suck coming from a different country?? What happened to a UK data centre?
I was like..OMG!! It’s Christmas in June because I had to wait a month in a half. All I have to say to those out there still waiting for that magical day is hang in there. These guys are working hard to process thousands of orders. COVID-19 hasn’t made things any easier so be patient, It’ll come, and when it does….WOW!!
Hi TeamShadow I’m a bit confused in the information when I get activated. My order is from June 9th 2020 (Datacenter Paris) and in my Shadow account it says it will be activated in July 2020. But in your last 07/13 Weekly Post for the Shadow Boost Activation Update you write: PARIS: If pre-order date is before June 10th: Pre-orders are on track to be delivered late summer (August-September) What is correct? Thank you!
