My Shadow sub recently disappeared (possibly relating to the changes going on currently). So I went in to re-subscribe and the only option I get is a pre-order for Shadow Boost in March 2022. Does this mean I can no longer use my Shadow even though £29.99 has been debited from my account today? I saw this post but does that mean everyone has lost access to their Shadow accounts until 2022?
As stated from the r/ShadowPC reddit; First off, I would like to say that using Shadow was a life altering experience for me as I had made all my edits (video editing) on there seeing as how I cannot do it on my real PC as it’s not strong enough to use the program. Without Shadow, I wouldn’t have met countless friends on games that I cannot run on my normal PC. Throughout using Shadow from these past years, there were bumps on the road with this service but they never cease to bring me a valuable and amazing gaming experience. I loved and was proud to have owned a virtual machine. My real PC couldn’t run literally 80%-90% of the games I play now, but with Shadow, I was able to run them with ease. Hello! I orded Shadow Boost around 6 days ago. And i searched through the whole internet for information about Shadow activation times. I read a post that said it was 0 to 15 days. But that was from 2018 so i dont know if that is still the case. On https://account.shadow.tech/order-tracking it will say: “Available in August 2020”. By reading that i was completely confused… Is it 0 to 15 days until activation? Is it activated in 2020? I am really confused and i hope somebody can reply to this with info about account activation. Hello,I have a very strange and very sudden problem when using Planet Zoo (and Planet Coaster too) with Shadow PC, is that once I get to the main screen I can't click on anything, even when I try to click on the logo setting or quitting it doesn't work.I have reinstalled the game several times in my shadow.I tried to lauch it without shadow and it works so I think the problem is related to Shadow but I don't see why and what I can do.Do you have any ideas ?thanks in advance :)
@Malte from Shadow Sorry to hijack this thread, but the current situation with Infinite and Ultra needs more discussion than ARM support in my eyes.We've been waiting for over a year and all we're told is "as soon as we have some solid news we will let you know"!? Yeah, of course you'll provide us with news once it's ready, but our preorder from 2019 is long overdue! Your default answer provides us with ZERO information.The account dashboard has not been updated for months and we are now in the targeted timeframe, "early 2021". Either update the date or provide us with a status update. We don’t even have a thread dedicated to the current preorder situation.If you really care about the community, this should be the weekly topic. You should have noticed that by now almost every second comment is about Infinite or Ultra. Do something about it!
Please get this straight with me shadow - I’ve been living with my laptop for the past almost 2 months now, getting 3 fps while scrolling down the walmart webpage and taking 15 minutes to start up my computer. I am tired of this. Today, I wake up and perform my daily ritual - check my shadow if its activated. Then I see, gladly, that it’s moved to my subscription tab! I’m very happy, and try to sign into the launcher. “Sorry your shadow is being activated” WHY did you give me false hope that my shadow was going to be activated?? So I come here on the forums and they say once that happened it will take 1-2 days for me to be activated, then this weekly thingy comes out and boom bang dam, I have to wait another week. Hello Shadow-Team, may I ask for an update on the Gravelines DC and how Ultra/Infinite is coming along? Just saying “there is no news” is a bit lame in my opinion! Why not keep us updated what is going on right now? How is building the Gravelines DC going? Are there any difficulties right now or is everything going according to plan? What are the experiences so far with the small ultra/infinite testers group? Will You acivate more preorders for stress-testing even before september/end of summer? For me its completely ok if You say You’ll need more time to test and tweak the configurations and if there will be delays because of Covid-19. No problem! Hi all, new to Shadow, still waiting for my rig to be set up. The Shadow app on my iMac now reads: “We’re setting up your Shadow in our nearest data center. We’ll send you an email as soon as it is ready!”. does this indicate that it won’t be long before I get it? Or did it always say that? I'm pretty sure it said something else the first time I logged in on the app.
Hi all, I’ve heard ‘through the grapevine’ that Shadow servers mine crypto while users are offline. Is this true?If so, why wasn’t this advertised better when signing up? It is definitely something that would make me think twice of staying with Shadow.Is there an opt-out option maybe?Again, these are just rumours I’ve heard, so don’t bite my head off if it’s all untrue.
Hey I used to be able to bill my Shadow account on my Canadian credit card. I let my subscription lapse a few months ago and now can no longer use my card to pay. Anybody have a work around for a Canadian user to pay for a subscription? Thanks in advance

I use resilio sync to synchronize media files for video editing. I’m interested in trying to use my shadow box for some video editing and am wondering if I can use resilio. It does use bit-torrent on the back-end I believe, in order to sync to multiple computers.
