Shadow Still Not Activated
To whom it may concern, Ordered my shadow boost back in april. Have opened multiple support tickets. Shadow is still not activated. No one can give me an eta on my shadow which i find to be a complete lie because someone in the data center has to know what system their currently working on. Ive missed out on multiple game releases because of this. I understand the whole corona virus but if my own retail store in NY can be open and i manage online orders im pretty sure some egg head can atleast give me an eta on what rig their installing. Sincerely, one pissed off consumer.
Returning customer but i get an “already pre-ordered” error
I have used shadow in the past heavily, But I stopped for a few months recently after building my own PC. I’m about to go on some trips, so id like to reactivate/re-order whatever you want to call it. When I try to checkout, it says I have “already pre-ordered”. Not sure what the issue is, maybe since I’m returning and had a subscription in the past? Whatever the case is, I’d love to reactivate shadow asap so please let me know what I can do!
Faster Activation speed
Ok so since corona has let down on most stuff and things are opening back up does that mean ill received my shadow ive been waiting for 3 days now and i seen on you post that it will take 5 to 7 weeks i cannot wait that long because school is right there in august so please let us all receive are shadow a lot faster i do not want to wait on my money to get back that will take 14 days so please do your service faster.
will i get access to my account instantly if my data centre is california?
Hello, I was about to subscribe to shadow when I saw that it said if I subscribe I get instant access to my account, it also says that only happens in some territory’s and I’m assuming it happens in California. Is this true and has any one who is in CA data centre been activated instantly? Thanks.

Hello, Today, while I was looking for the price of the annual subscription of shadow boost, I miss-clicked on annual subscription. The problem is that I can’t afford the price and I can’t re-select monthly subscription. So how can I switch on monthly subscription before the 9 of july ? Thank you for the answer.
In light of the delays being announced via individual email lets all share our new projected activation time frames. Data Center- Chicago Order Date- 5/15 Projected Activation- Early July Reason Given- “Due to current events, our partners were unable to deliver your primary storage on time. Therefore, we are unable to activate your Shadow until then.”
Let's talk about activations
Hello everybody in the shadow community, We all know that these delays and all of this has made us a bit frustrated, so let’s share what we feel about these delays and about our feelings about this very late activation! Here’s what I got: I was promised my Shadow in June. As time passed, I realized there was no way, nada, zip zero chance that I would have gotten my shadow in June. On June 26th, they said we would get our shadows by the end of June, however they say the timeline they were on was May 7th. Lol. Even at the rate this is going, I’m seeing 3 days worth of activations per 2 weeks. The promised time, for me, was the first 2-3 weeks of July. If at the moment they are on may 7th, in 2 weeks they will be on may 10th. I ordered May 21st. That means I’ll get my activation in late September, if it keeps this up. I recently saw a person asking that if he ordered today, would he get it by this week? I actually starting choking and laughing. What innocence. Slapped him in
Update on Gravelines DC and Ultra/Infinite
Hello Shadow-Team, may I ask for an update on the Gravelines DC and how Ultra/Infinite is coming along? Just saying “there is no news” is a bit lame in my opinion! Why not keep us updated what is going on right now? How is building the Gravelines DC going? Are there any difficulties right now or is everything going according to plan? What are the experiences so far with the small ultra/infinite testers group? Will You acivate more preorders for stress-testing even before september/end of summer? For me its completely ok if You say You’ll need more time to test and tweak the configurations and if there will be delays because of Covid-19. No problem! But keep us informed please...throw us a bone!
I have two questions to ask
I just pre-oredered Shadow Boost on 6/25/2020. When and what day will my Shadow be activated? Once my Shadow gets activated, I won’t have to pay for that month because I paid for the pre-order, right? So, if my Shadow gets activated in July, I will have to pay for the month of August, and so forth.
I pre-ordered boost on May 24th. It is now June 25th. For almost a month I was told that my shadow would be activated in June and that I would be on the NY data center. I received an email confirming that my pre order was received and processed. Now can't check the status of my pre order. The page that showed the status of my order is gone, replaced with the page that asks me which tier I want to pre order.. Soooo am I still going to receive my activation email sometime in June and be able to play? Or did your system somehow lose my order? Jw because June's almost over and I'm reading a lot of posts from people who've been waiting wayyy longer than me who still haven't received their activation...and now your websites suddenly acting like I never pre ordered. Would really just like some kind of reassurance that I have no been patiently waiting this whole time for no reason.
Missing Subscription & Billing and My Orders info
I am in Dallas and pre-ordered shadow on 04/23. From previous posts I understand that activation should occur before the end of June. I was in the midst of a 90 day trial period which ended 06/06 but had been able to access and play my games up until 06/09. I went in today (06/14) to check on my activation status and when I select either the “Subscription & Billing” or “My Orders” tabs I get a blank webpage. refreshing either page puts me back at “My Account”. In addition, where once next to “My Orders” there was a (1), there is now a (0). I get the same blank page both in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I noticed in another thread some one mentioned this might be because I am currently being activated but as of yet I have not received an activation email. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated as I have loved the service up to this point. thanks!
when can i get shadow?
Right when can I actually get shadow? I’ve been waiting for a while ago as I was a shadow customer in the past but cancelled it as I never got the chance to use it due to work commitments, but now I don’t I’m really wanting to get into it again, I’m currently away with work for 6 month and don’t have a gaming pc I have my iPad, this is where shadow would come in really usually as I could use my controller, and wireless keyboard and mouse to play games and keep me occupied, but it says not available until 2021 but yet I see people posting about there current shadow plan? When’s the earliest I could get on shadow? And do I actually have to wait until 2021 to use shadow?
Billed on credit card but no activation
I saw that a charge was billed to my credit card but my activation hasn’t happened yet. According to my account page activation won’t occur until July sometime. Does this mean that my activation will happen sooner than expected? Technically I don’t think that you are supposed to charge people until services rendered. At least in California I believe. Just saying.
