I have reached the end of my patience limit with Shadow. Here's my rant.
Please get this straight with me shadow - I’ve been living with my laptop for the past almost 2 months now, getting 3 fps while scrolling down the walmart webpage and taking 15 minutes to start up my computer. I am tired of this. Today, I wake up and perform my daily ritual - check my shadow if its activated. Then I see, gladly, that it’s moved to my subscription tab! I’m very happy, and try to sign into the launcher. “Sorry your shadow is being activated” WHY did you give me false hope that my shadow was going to be activated?? So I come here on the forums and they say once that happened it will take 1-2 days for me to be activated, then this weekly thingy comes out and boom bang dam, I have to wait another week. Early July is OVER! Do you hear me shadow? It’s over, yet you’re still pushing more time onto me blaming it on your “Partners”. when will my shadow be available?
i preorderd on the 23 of may and i have been told it would be the end of june, and then i got an email saying there has been a delay, but that was almost 3 weeks ago, and i have since not recieved any word. it is now the 11th of july and i am wondering when my shadow will be available to use, if there is some timeframe? i have been waiting very patiently and will continue to do so but some comunnication that this is not just me slipping through the cracks would be nice! ty!!
If I cancel my subscription and re-subscribe at a later date, will my Shadow still be ready for me?
I am planning on cancelling my subscription at the end of this month for financial reasons, but I plan to re-subscribe as soon as I am able to afford the service again. Will I be put on a wait-list for a Shadow to be ready again or will my current machine still be available for me when I re-subscribe?
Shadow says "starts on july 6th 2020.
My Shadow says subscription starts July 6th 2020. I show Storage amount. My orders read (0) is there a delay of a day or two when I can start it? It shows under my subscription but I have not received an email. If this question has been asked I couldn’t find it sorry :(
Why did my GPU change?
When I first setup my Shadow it was a 1080TI gpu now it is showing a Quadro 5000 I kinda feel like I was bait & switched. Why did this happen? Also will this be changed back as i am still being charged the 29.99 per month and not getting any of the 3 tiers of service offered my service is equivelant to the 12.99 tier?
Maybe activations before GTA 6 ?
We ordered May 13th, we are July 04th, what is the **** problem bro?Okay, you're having problems with COVID19. Okay, it takes you some time to install the PCs, Okay, you've got a lot of orders,But what the ****, you can't give your customers the information to keep them informed about their situation? I didn't get any information except a "general" email telling me, we'll be late, and that's a month later. It is now July 4th, when is my SHADOW going to be activated? Is it possible to have a date? In 2032? When will COVID-45 come out? You think you can activate our shadows before GTA 6 ? I have a big community on Twitter and Youtube, and believe me, I'm going to give you some nice publicity. Shadow Still Not Activated
To whom it may concern, Ordered my shadow boost back in april. Have opened multiple support tickets. Shadow is still not activated. No one can give me an eta on my shadow which i find to be a complete lie because someone in the data center has to know what system their currently working on. Ive missed out on multiple game releases because of this. I understand the whole corona virus but if my own retail store in NY can be open and i manage online orders im pretty sure some egg head can atleast give me an eta on what rig their installing. Sincerely, one pissed off consumer.
Returning customer but i get an “already pre-ordered” error
I have used shadow in the past heavily, But I stopped for a few months recently after building my own PC. I’m about to go on some trips, so id like to reactivate/re-order whatever you want to call it. When I try to checkout, it says I have “already pre-ordered”. Not sure what the issue is, maybe since I’m returning and had a subscription in the past? Whatever the case is, I’d love to reactivate shadow asap so please let me know what I can do!
Faster Activation speed
Ok so since corona has let down on most stuff and things are opening back up does that mean ill received my shadow ive been waiting for 3 days now and i seen on you post that it will take 5 to 7 weeks i cannot wait that long because school is right there in august so please let us all receive are shadow a lot faster i do not want to wait on my money to get back that will take 14 days so please do your service faster.
will i get access to my account instantly if my data centre is california?
Hello, I was about to subscribe to shadow when I saw that it said if I subscribe I get instant access to my account, it also says that only happens in some territory’s and I’m assuming it happens in California. Is this true and has any one who is in CA data centre been activated instantly? Thanks.

Hello, Today, while I was looking for the price of the annual subscription of shadow boost, I miss-clicked on annual subscription. The problem is that I can’t afford the price and I can’t re-select monthly subscription. So how can I switch on monthly subscription before the 9 of july ? Thank you for the answer.
In light of the delays being announced via individual email lets all share our new projected activation time frames. Data Center- Chicago Order Date- 5/15 Projected Activation- Early July Reason Given- “Due to current events, our partners were unable to deliver your primary storage on time. Therefore, we are unable to activate your Shadow until then.”
