This is terrible communication. Why would you send me an email saying I should expect an email when my shadow is ready to use- which should be any day now. I look on my account and you’ve updated my expected delivery date to now August 26… that's not any day now? that's any month now. You've now pissed me off because of your poor choice to lie to me and get my hopes up that ill receive the shadow soon. But then regress and say its still months out. I highly doubt I'm even going to get the shadow that the new date.
they keep changing the activation date, new price and god knows what else. and i still havent got jack to show for the money, and now im truly starting to get mad and fustrated. this company needs to get their head out the ass and start talking to people that gave them money and start to talk about when the hell i and others are going to get what we paid for year if not years ago. this is truly a prank on us or a giant scam. i for one are pretty damn pissed at this point
I was just banned for mining crypto but (by my knowledge) I didn't download anything to mine cryptocurrency unless I downloaded a virus or something. Cryptocurrency is useless why would I pay 34 dollars to mine crypto? Please, I want to get into contact with someone to revoke my ban I was just about to get the outer worlds.

On my account page the buyable storage is remarked as “sold out”, the last entry of this topic is written on June 2021. Is there something ongoing? There are many would-be Shadow users who have gotten their activation dates moved back to December 31st 2021. I just wanted to tell the people who have their activation dates the same to not expect Shadow to deliver on time and consider a refund. I don’t think that Shadow will be able to deliver on Dec 31st because:It’s a seemingly arbitrary date that MANY subscriptions were pushed back to There is no way Shadow is going to be able to handle the amount of people that are all supposed to get activated on the exact same dayIt just seems like Shadow panicked and pushed a bunch of subs back, so don’t expect them to deliver on time. I’m expecting that the majority of the subs listed as Dec. 31st will pushed back even more. Personally, if the date gets moved back further, I’m just going to get a refund.
Hey, having some issues with my Shadow account. I bought boost ( Paris datacenter ) on April 11th and it shows me the estimated activation date - July 2020th. Currently it is August already and I have not recieved any notifications in my e-mail about a delay or whatsover. I’ve tried to contact support two times through the account “Support” tab and it displays that my message has been sent without giving me a ticket ID and I haven’t recieved a reply in over a week. So I’m trying to find some support here, cheers.
Since I read the update about the current status of shadow, I found out that they are seeking new investors. Once they have done that, maybe there are more resources available, which in turn decrease the shadow waiting times. I had a thought about this. Is this true?
i was told id receive my shadow in under 5 business days its the 5th day now and still haven't heard from anyone. the only thing that happened was that they delayed it even more. it just stinks because it was portrayed to be a quick and easy thing when it hasn't been.
My experience with them tells me they are not.I registered last spring, didn’t use the service at all, then cancelled because I didn’t know it had even been activated. Presumably the email went into my spam folder.Today, I decided to try Shadow and noticed after registering that they had billed me for three months last spring. I had not used the service at all. I asked for a refund, figuring they would kindly send that small amount of money back to a new subscriber as a way to show they are good people. They denied my request, as is their right. That, however, was not a friendly or wise decision because as they should have predicted, I am now cancelling my subscription and they have lost a potentially lifelong customer so they can hold on to about $80.If a company makes such bad choices about things like this, what other bad choices are they making? It requires a lot of trust to rent a computer from someone and I don’t think a reasonable person would trust people who make such capricio
This morning, my activation date went from October 29th to November 26th. Does anyone know why? Moderators on Discord have been saying that this is just a display issue but I want to know for sure. My data center is in Chicago and I pre-ordered the Shadow Boost.
My account was banned I found out it was because of the auto-shutdown not working and section 12 of terms and services when I had nothing to do with it. I ain't the only one. I'm scared all my files are gone, and if they are I'm going to feel worse. Please fix this issue Shadow!
I get this kind of post has been made a bunch already, but i’d like a bit of transparency. I ordered on March 15th from the Chicago Datacenter, and my order page says that my order should be ready by July 30th, however July has obviously passed. I used the support bot on the website, and it says that it should be activated by August 26, 2021. Which, has well, clearly also passed. I get there are things going on and changes are being made with the company, and I understand that others have waited years, so I don’t mean to seem “impatient”. I would just like some clarification on if my order page will be updated, or the bot response will be updated. Maybe some information about the chicago datacenter. How are activations going at the moment for that datacenter? When would be an estimated guess for things getting back on track? I emailed support and was told to check the weekly activation updates, yet one hasn’t been made in months, so basically I have no information, and I really don’t k
Dear Shadow Some time ago I have received an e-mail about accepting new conditions, I clicked the link provided, logged it and accepted the new conditions on my account page. My June invoice was still with the old price though. Now I receive yet the 2nd e-mail stating I have 5 days to accept the new conditions or I will loose my shadow. I click on the link provided in the e-mail again and it takes me to my shadow account page, then I see nothing there about accepting the new conditions (I guess because I have already accepted them couple of weeks ago). Will I loose my shadow in 5 days? What can I do to make sure my shadow will be ok? Thank you for your help!
Storage is available for purchase through your account page under the “Subscriptions & Billings” tab starting April 23rd, 2020. However, once storage on the data center has run out, you’ll no longer be able to add additional storage to your account until more is allocated or someone gives up their additional storage. When additional storage becomes available, you will be able to add/remove increments of 256GB to your Shadow via your account page, up to a total of 2 TB of additional storage. Storage is charged per month. Once your order is confirmed, you must shut down Windows and reboot it in order to activate your additional storage on Shadow. You’ll find all additional storage on the D Drive on your Shadow. We highly recommend backing up your data on any extra storage you’ve purchased just in case you end up removing the storage.
I’d like to subscribe, but I’m wondering if there’s any hope of a quicker activation date than June, as that is over half a year away? I am a prior subscriber, so I know the service works alright, but that was over a year ago when activation only took 5-9 days.
