No one wants to pay for something and not receive what they paid for. When will the moving dates end?? So say this company has gotten thousands of new users recently and it's not giving ANY of them what they paid for. What if they keep doing this for 2 years to come? No! There not going to say "Pay us and we will play and use your money while we tell you to wait indefinitely." and just get away with doing that. THAT'S BUSINESS 101 So who thinks making a petition of everyone that feels shadow has done them wrong is a good idea?
Hello,I was thrilled to get my activation 5 months sooner than I was expecting, but 2 problems have arisen -1st - The next payment date is due on the 27th of the month, this is a problem for me as traditionally by the 27th I wont have the funds in my account to pay for the service. I would like my payment date to be earlier in the month, preferrably the 2nd or 3rd to ensure there are no payment issues between us.2nd - I use Shadow for sim racing with a g920 steering wheel. for the past week I have had problems with usb forwarding and ultimatly it’s meant I have had no purpose to use the account. This issue is still ongoing and if not fixed soon, I may be forced to cancel my subscription (This is something I do NOT want to do as I will have to sell my steering wheel too as I don’t have a machine which can run games).Because of these reasons I was wondering if you would be able to provide me with a new payment date of 2nd or 3rd October and then remain at this date for the following mont
I had Shadow for almost a year until a billing error in August, but when I first pre-ordered in mid-2020 I was able to access my Shadow Desktop in less than 4 weeks, then after a few months Shadow just wasn’t working right. After I lost access in August of this year(2021) I did a new pre-order only 2 weeks later and it says I have to wait until New Years Eve. This “next chapter” for Shadow seems to be much more of an abandonment than a step forward in any sense. -Better communication from your teams? Seems like half of your employees got fired. -Weekly Updates? Haven’t had a single update since June, and it was from someone who doesn’t work at Shadow anymore. -Get access to Shadow faster? I’ve seen nothing but complaints in this community forum about people having to wait LONGER than what they were promised.At this point, I’m close to cancelling my pre-order because it seems like it’s not worth it anymore. they keep changing the activation date, new price and god knows what else. and i still havent got jack to show for the money, and now im truly starting to get mad and fustrated. this company needs to get their head out the ass and start talking to people that gave them money and start to talk about when the hell i and others are going to get what we paid for year if not years ago. this is truly a prank on us or a giant scam. i for one are pretty damn pissed at this point
So, i wait now almost 2 years for my activiation and i know the situations around that company right now but it would be great to have any timeframe of the activation. Can you give me/us some hints or clues when we get our activation for that? Dear Shadow,I've been using Shadow now for a good solid year with a yearly subscription.I signed in to Shadow due to the fact of having this neat set up which I can take where ever I go and still having decent performance with my own Virtual PC on whatever device.Mostly I'm using an Intel NUC mini PC to connect to Shadow to play games, but during travels I would use my Chromebook for some normal administration work.So far I've been a real fan of the concept and how it worked.However… Now, since the price increases significantly, and I need to sign in for subscription renewal, I wonder if it's still worth it.The machines are not being upgraded, service and communication went down the drain for large part of the year (since the big announcement) and it doesn't seem to improve soon.Isn't it just cheaper now to buy a laptop with fairly decent specs?Example: Asus ROG Strix G15i5 10th Gen, Nvidia RTX3050, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD > around 1000 eurosSo lets say I keep it for 4 years, that's 100
Florida, the third most populated state in the USA, gets its service from its next door neighbor New York (sarcasm). Ping times for most are above 40ms and many, myself included, no longer subscribe to Shadow because of it. Years ago, someone from Shadow said a data center for Florida was planned. Will Florida ever get a data center that could service the South East of the USA?
I accepted the new agreement and am currently waiting to see when my subscription will be updated to the new price. I have been paying for this for a few months and I don’t want all my $$$ to go to waste. if there is any timeframe as to when I will be charged the new price I need to know that as soon as possible. thank you.
As stated from the r/ShadowPC reddit; First off, I would like to say that using Shadow was a life altering experience for me as I had made all my edits (video editing) on there seeing as how I cannot do it on my real PC as it’s not strong enough to use the program. Without Shadow, I wouldn’t have met countless friends on games that I cannot run on my normal PC. Throughout using Shadow from these past years, there were bumps on the road with this service but they never cease to bring me a valuable and amazing gaming experience. I loved and was proud to have owned a virtual machine. My real PC couldn’t run literally 80%-90% of the games I play now, but with Shadow, I was able to run them with ease. Now, let’s talk about the present (at the time I am writing this.). Yesterday, I was making the most of my Shadow and was just setting up my Discord to look fancier using BetterDiscord. I have no idea what this team is even doing at this point. My order was mid-March, I am yet to wait for my Shadow to activate. Which is fine… I can wait. There is an order to which first-come-first-serve. Fine by me. BUT:: WHY ARE YOU FUCKING BOOKING MONEY FROM ME MONTH AFTER MONTH FOR NO SERVICE? I cant even tell at this point. The ultimate kicker is.. I am on Boost level, which is 14.99€. THEY BOOK 9.99€ FROM MY ACCOUNT EACH MONTH. I guess its what you can call “a tribute to progress”. I probably have to think of it like a Patreon Subscription to some Indi Startup. GUYS - GET. YOUR. SHIT. TOGETHER.
My subscription ended on the 29th. I thought i could manually start it again once it ended but I see no such option. Shadow redirects me to the subscription page if I try to checkout again to restart my subscription but there is no such button there. Please help me restart my subscription so I dont have to wait a month again for another activation on a new account.
Hello. THis is what my subscription says : Starts on June 9th 2020 - end of commitment July 9th 2020 I tried logging in to shadow app but it says that it’s still being activated. I have not received a single email. So they are starting to charge me without giving me a machine?
Are we at any point gonna be allowed to change the shadow we have through the middle of a year purchase. Like what I mean is I bought boost for a year and I have used it for about 4 months and I enjoyed what I got. I wanted to upgrade to ultra but I also don’t want to be paying for both at the same time so I wanted to know if it would be possible to change my boost into ultra even thought my year of boost is not finished?
