Hello I need urgent help! My Subsciption pre-order that I placed waaaay back in 2019 has disappeared. I got an email late March stating COVID had impacted the activation and they were expecting it around early 2021 and offered boost services that would activate that month. Every few weeks I log in and check to see even Boost hasn’t activated.On logging in today I see BOTH subscriptions have disappeared without warning! I have submitted a ticket but I am furious beyond belief at the moment!
I have been so impressed by Shadow Boost the past five weeks that I just selected the annual commitment from my account page! However, once September 18 2021 rolls around, what will happen to my plan? Will I be moved to the Shadow Boost monthly plan at that time automatically, so that my options would be open again? Thank you so much! Shadow continues to impress me every day!
Possible to transfer data center (if OK with having data erased)? If not, possible to "pause" annual subscription?
Hi all -Happy Friday. I work full-time in New York City. However, for the past month I have returned to my hometown in California and will be here for a few more months. Evidently, my connection to the New York data center isn’t A+ give the distance. Has anyone had experience with transfering data centers? I am OK with having my data wiped. If data transfers are not possible, has anyone had experience with having their Shadow subscription “paused” until I can use the service again? Appreciate any help here. Thanks!
I have 2 things to ask anyone that knows what is happening right now.my page it says that my account will be activated on “august 2020” does anyone know if there is an exact day or week that it will be activated. I have been waiting for months on end and really wanted my account back like the good old days with shadow why is there no weekly update for this week (3rd of august 2020) it always shows up on the Monday of each week but nothing showed up this week.thank you
Hey I used to be able to bill my Shadow account on my Canadian credit card. I let my subscription lapse a few months ago and now can no longer use my card to pay. Anybody have a work around for a Canadian user to pay for a subscription? Thanks in advance
I purchased Shadow Boost on July 18 (available at August 2020), but I can't see any important information about the "Pre-order" tag in my account and he show me the error that he can’t get my pre order data. and I don't receive any update Mails about my pre-order.I just want to make sure that I have not been forgotten. Is there the possibility for more detailed information? Thanks for help :)
If I already have shadow, but it will end fir that month, will I have to wait another month before I can use it again, or is there an option to continuously renew my subscription for it? I honestly am having a great time with it, even if I'm only in an exploration zone right now, and I can't really think of a time I didn't have it.Also, if I wss able ti renew it, would I have to rediwnload everything all over again? Or would it save my current PC for immediate use?
Hello, I’m trying to pre-order a new subscription to Boost (subscribed previously and cancelled), but it wont let me do so with my account (whenever I confirm the payment method, it says I already pre-ordered and sends me verification codes t my email though I cant use them cos nothing shows up on the payment page for that). When I spoke to Shadow, they said I needed a new mail and new account, so I made a new email address and went to pre-order again; filled in new account details, then it says my email address is invalid! What can I do to pre-order my Boost subscription?
Hello Shadow, as you know, there are not only Koreans looking to try the Korea DC.I am talking about Japan, Taiwan and other Asian countries that can use the Korea DC. I am in Japan and have a ping of >100 to California DC but <30 to Seoul. Thats why I would like to try the Korea DC. Right now, OPQR is running a pre-experience group for Korea, here:https://cafe.naver.com/shadowpc You need an LG Notebook and a Korean cellphone number to participate. @ShadowCould you please share some invite codes with us, people who are in Asia, but not in Korea and do not have a Korean cellphone number? We can “pre-experience” test this DC for other countries in Asia.
I hate to be the guy complaining about activation times, but I feel like the “Within 24 hours” preorder is misleading at best. I placed an order on the 19th. I’m now coming up on 48 hours after the order has been placed, and my Shadow Boost has still not been activated. I opened a ticket, and to Shadow’s credit, they were very fast to respond. I was informed that they had ‘passed the information on to their team and that my Shadow would be moving to activation shortly’. That was over 18 hours ago. I really have no problem waiting, but I would appreciate it if the activation time estimate was more accurate.
hey Ryan very nice to me chatting to you for the first time. My activation is due by the end of December. I can't wait! . I am wondering if i require a shadow box as i will just be using shadow via my laptop and hooking it up to a monitor. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hi TeamShadow I’m a bit confused in the information when I get activated. My order is from June 9th 2020 (Datacenter Paris) and in my Shadow account it says it will be activated in July 2020. But in your last 07/13 Weekly Post for the Shadow Boost Activation Update you write: PARIS: If pre-order date is before June 10th: Pre-orders are on track to be delivered late summer (August-September) What is correct? Thank you!
I paid for subscription because the site said if I pre-order today the service will be available on 10/29/2020 (technically already past). I would have been also happy to select California but the site told me my address was invalid so I selected Washington (no choice of accepting a data center slightly further away). Unless I can connect to an available data center on the west coast, I’d like a refund on the pre-order because this seems badly organized?
