I have just gone through the order process for a boost account from the UK.

During the process the estimator was not functioning and now the order is placed it says it will not be active until 30th August… surely this is not correct?

The estimator was functioning and the date provided is accurate. Currently, for the western part of Europe, there is a long line for the service. -Gelgoog

Ahhh thank goodness you could see my screen when I was ordering to know that the estimator was working for me! That is such a relief! 
 

Does anyone know how there is a 8 month backlog? Working in tech we would push through a whole product development cycle in that time period.

Don’t need to see your screen to know the estimator was working properly. That’s how you knew it would take 8 months. Also if your curious here is a chart why its taking 8 months to get product. 
 

At the moment their is Excess Demand leading to a shortage of product. -Gelgoog.
