I understand if this is frowned upon but I was wondering: Am I allowed to share my Shadow.tech account with my friend(s)? Like, what if my friend wanted to try out Shadow before purchasing a subscription? I ask because I didn’t see it anywhere.

Hello @HarryPotter4444
You may not share any of your Shadow credentials, but account sharing is not definitely defined, therefore not forbidden. If your friend wants to try your Shadow you may want to connect via remote desktop to his PC to enter your passwrd/email. Then you should be all good and safe, in theory. Sharing account credentials might be harmful to your data and the Shadow machine, which is why it is strongly recommended to keep them secret as you are responsible for every following action.

Awesome! Although, I do see how there can be issues like say the “friend” using my Shadow to mine bitcoin.

I guess this can become an idea? Like, setting up shared accounts under 1 Shadow account and the responsibility goes to each person instead of the main account. That way the main user won’t end up having to pay for the replacement GPU and, since there’s a GPU shortage, only have 1 screen shared between the main account as well as the sub-accounts.

@HarryPotter4444 The holder of the account is responsible for everything that happens on shadow. If you let others mine Bitcoin it is your fault in the end. Shadow can only be used by one person at a time.

@Phobos Did I say something that showed I didn’t understand?

Yes. That's how I interpreted your last message.
