So, I'm a bit confused here. Have pre ordered shadow in London. (Ordered 18 Jul. Says….Oct? delivery...wow) What's all this talk about data centres. When I joined the forum it made me choose a data centre...but there didn't seem to be one for the UK / London.

Does this mean that my shadow when it's eventually delivered will run out of France or Amsterdam….isn't the latency going to suck coming from a different country??

What happened to a UK data centre?

I am like 30miles from London, have Paris datacenter, works perfectly fine 30ms, there is Speedtest you can check for each DC and pick with lowest ms SPEEDTEST

Interesting. Guess I better switch to Paris as my forum selection. I'm on pre order but a bit dubious now. Hopefully Paris will be ok for a London guy.

There is no data center in each country where shadow is.

For Europe you have Paris, Gravelines and Amsterdam.

Paris services UK.

Latency will depend on many factors, some are within your control, some within Blade’s and some are outside of both parties.

I am connecting from 1100km away to my datacenter which is Amsterdam and I run 20ms if I have a good connection.

There are plenty other UK users who can share their experience with which provider in the UK works well.
