Activation is the process your Shadow goes through in order for you to access it. This includes assigning a GPU, CPU, storage drives, etc for your Shadow.
Activation times: What you should know
Activation times are based on current wait times and availability of resources. Wait times can increase due to resources becoming available at a slower rate. During a delay, activation times depend on available components, employee resources, data center capacity, and how many other Shadow users are waiting that ordered before you. As all these variables change on a day-to-day basis, we do our best to project the most accurate time for activation wait time.
Getting ready to use your Shadow
Once your Shadow is ready for use, you’ll receive an email confirmation. In the meantime, you can sign in to your account page and download Shadow onto your devices before it’s ready for use. This way, you’ll be able to quickly set up your Shadow once it’s been activated.
Tracking your Shadow’s activation progress
You can find an estimated activations date of your Shadow via your account page , under the “My Orders” tab. Once your Shadow has been activated, this order will move to the “Subscriptions & Billings” tab. Your subscription and billing will not start until your Shadow is activated.
