when will my shadow be available?

i preorderd on the 23 of may and i have been told it would be the end of june, and then i got an email saying there has been a delay, but that was almost 3 weeks ago, and i have since not recieved any word. it is now the 11th of july and i am wondering when my shadow will be available to use, if there is some timeframe? i have been waiting very patiently and will continue to do so but some comunnication that this is not just me slipping through the cracks would be nice! ty!!

What datacenter? they've also updated the activstoon dates forum TWICE in a week instead of once

sorry thought i had mentioned it. im out of the ny data center. last time i had checked it was supposed to be the beginning of july because the hdd didnt arrive or something in there pipeline dealing with the storage, and that was last official thing ive heard

They were on May 18th for activations, i preordered on the 20th so I may get it monday or tuesday

@PonkKastle  It all depends on the rate of activation that they can keep up with. Right now they are backlogged and are activating orders from May 18th. 

 

Two weeks ago, they were activating a dismal 1-2 days of pre-orders a week.

Ex: On the week of 6/22, they hoped to that by 6/29 they would have activated everyone up to May 7th. On 6/29 they announced that in the next week they hoped to get everyone up to May 8th. This means that every week they only processed 1-2 orders a week. This was due to a delay in their suppliers and other third parties (not their fault).

(However, notice they did not change the dates on their website, they are selling a product knowing they cannot deliver at anywhere near what they say they can). 

As of 7/6/ they are doing much better. By 7/6 they were supposed to activate all orders to May 8th. It seems that they have and are forecasting that by 7/13 they should be getting all orders before May 18th activated. This seems to indicate that they are doing around 10 days of pre-order activations done a week. So lets use this rate to make a calculation about when you will be activated. 

Forecast:

  • By 7/13 they should be at May 18th
  • By 7/20 they should be at May 28th
  • By 8/3 they should be at June 7th

If we use the calculations above, you should be activated by July 20th.

(Supposing no further delays)

If you did not expect such a delay, you are not alone. I ordered on May 25th and it said I would be activated by June. I waited and June came, no activation. I waited until July, no activation. I am hoping that by 7/20 I may also be activated.

it really hurts their company when 1) they lie to customer 2) they dont give any responses as to why they lied and whats being done about it 3) they are so far behind on everything that these dates arent accurate one bit, they are “hopes” and you cant run business off “hope” 

i encourage everyone still waiting to google search a better company for this same service. many are instant and way cheaper. and you actually get a product
