In regards to your above decision to close the weekly activation updates, I want to point out as a customer I feel this is a mistake. You are taking a BIG step backwards, putting me back in the dark AGAIN and making me want to cancel my pre-order and just buy a PC! I’m sure there are others feeling the same way. Keeping us informed of progress through activation is key to assurance that it is coming. Publishing this information weekly was refreshing and open and honest! I am in Dallas and pre-ordered shadow on 04/23. From previous posts I understand that activation should occur before the end of June. I was in the midst of a 90 day trial period which ended 06/06 but had been able to access and play my games up until 06/09. I went in today (06/14) to check on my activation status and when I select either the “Subscription & Billing” or “My Orders” tabs I get a blank webpage. refreshing either page puts me back at “My Account”. In addition, where once next to “My Orders” there was a (1), there is now a (0). I get the same blank page both in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I noticed in another thread some one mentioned this might be because I am currently being activated but as of yet I have not received an activation email. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated as I have loved the service up to this point. thanks!
Hi there, so while searching for any official news regarding current activation progress on infinite preorders, I couldn’t find anything. On german discord servers, moderators said, that the “by end of summer 2020” means the latest activation date. So I guess it is safe to assume that some/most people will get activated earlier. What is the status here? Why is there no official post about infinite activation progress?
I’m sorry, but I am not going to pay 29.99 for the exact same PC. Either you guys show some transparency on why in god’s name you’d up the price and eliminate the other options, or I, and I’m sure many others, will be cancelling.
Hi, last year in autumn I pre-ordered a Shadow Ultra as an existing customer (from Germany). Unfortunately there were problems and the activation of my package was postponed to early summer. Now it's the end of May and next week the summer officially begins. Unfortunately, I haven't received any updates as to when I can expect an activation. I have absolute understanding that further problems or the COVID-19 crisis might cause the whole thing to be delayed. However, a little more transparency would be desirable, when it finally goes on. Hence the question: When can I expect my Ultra to be activated?
Well, I am writing this with absolutely zero hope for a solution to be found here but as I am apparently not allowed to discuss this on the Discord and support has been less than helpful. I am now trying a new avenue. A simple search here or on the Discord server can show you that people are being randomly banned for crypto mining who very well might not be. I know I for one was not, and any simple look at my Shadow would show that. Not really sure what else there is to say. I turned my Shadow off the night before, woke up the next day and napped at some point. Around 1 p.m. I received an e-mail saying that “forbidden activity was detected” followed by a ban about 30 minutes later saying that I was stopping Shadow from turning off. My Shadow was not turned on, nor did I ever do anything to stop that. Obviously I believe this to be an error and I see a lot of other people having the same issue. Despite that support sent me an accusatory response basically calling me a dirty crypto miner
I know you guys are limited by the resources you have and covid etc But life has taught me there are few problems that the introduction of cold hard cash cant solve..As such I suggest adding a 1 off payment option too those members like myself who really dont like the idea of waiting 8 months lets say £50 to get it done within a week or something.
Hello Shadow-Team, may I ask for an update on the Gravelines DC and how Ultra/Infinite is coming along? Just saying “there is no news” is a bit lame in my opinion! Why not keep us updated what is going on right now? How is building the Gravelines DC going? Are there any difficulties right now or is everything going according to plan? What are the experiences so far with the small ultra/infinite testers group? Will You acivate more preorders for stress-testing even before september/end of summer? For me its completely ok if You say You’ll need more time to test and tweak the configurations and if there will be delays because of Covid-19. No problem! But keep us informed please...throw us a bone!
To whom it may concern, Ordered my shadow boost back in april. Have opened multiple support tickets. Shadow is still not activated. No one can give me an eta on my shadow which i find to be a complete lie because someone in the data center has to know what system their currently working on. Ive missed out on multiple game releases because of this. I understand the whole corona virus but if my own retail store in NY can be open and i manage online orders im pretty sure some egg head can atleast give me an eta on what rig their installing. Sincerely, one pissed off consumer.
We ordered May 13th, we are July 04th, what is the **** problem bro?Okay, you're having problems with COVID19. Okay, it takes you some time to install the PCs, Okay, you've got a lot of orders,But what the ****, you can't give your customers the information to keep them informed about their situation? I didn't get any information except a "general" email telling me, we'll be late, and that's a month later. It is now July 4th, when is my SHADOW going to be activated? Is it possible to have a date? In 2032? When will COVID-45 come out? You think you can activate our shadows before GTA 6 ? I have a big community on Twitter and Youtube, and believe me, I'm going to give you some nice publicity. My Shadow says subscription starts July 6th 2020. I show Storage amount. My orders read (0) is there a delay of a day or two when I can start it? It shows under my subscription but I have not received an email. If this question has been asked I couldn’t find it sorry :(
Hello guys, I want to cancel my monthly subscription for personal reasons as soon as possible in one of my 2 accounts affiliated with my same card, but in the subscription section within account I do not see the option of Cancellation of subscription as if I observed in my other account, maybe I'll be doing something wrong, I would appreciate your prompt response. The account in mention is the same as the forum.
So I forgot about my shadow and have not used it just over a month, however today is the last day before my bill renews and I am currently trying to cancel yet the option is not there. I have sent support a ticket but I don’t know how long that will take, does anyone know why the option is not there?
