  • My screen keeps freezing while using the ShadowPC around every 30 seconds. The audio still works and my input is still detected. What should happen is that the audio and video should be synced and the video should be working at the same frame rate that is displayed in the quick menu

    1. Start Shadow and enter any game.
    2. Play the game at any bandwidth.
    3. Screen Freezes
  • MacOS official Launcher v4.22.9 Client v3.9.

  • Additional Notes: The drivers on the Shadow computer are 461.40. Problem occurs on any bit rate and Streaming Preferences.

Hello. Recently, my ShadowPC has been freezing for unknown reasons. I run Shadow on my MacBook Air from 2017 which has been working well with it until just recently. I have a consistent 70 mbps download speed and 15 mbps upload speed on my local 5G network. The issue occurs at any bitrate I use. I play on “Prefer Speed” but whenever I switch to “Prefer Reliability,” I get massive frame drops. On the ShadowPC, I am running 461.40 and I believe that this is the cause of the problem since I just recently upgraded to it. I tried restarting my Shadow, trying the beta app, uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher, and restarting my local computer and it still hasn't worked despite having a very fast internet connection.

Hi Cridi0t,

Could you let me know if the issue still occurs on the MacOS beta app?

If it’s still happening, we’ll need the following to investigate this issue:

I have this problem also with shadow on my macbook. Using the beta launcher is the solution for me at the moment.
