Shadow doesn't properly account for the notch on some phonesRejected
I used shadow on my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phone, and that phone has a camera notch in the front of the screen, Shadow should account for this, by avoiding display on the edges, however it seems as though it fails to do this, It doesn’t hide the spots where the notch is by default, And it doesn’t look like it is an option anyways. You must go to the settings app and change the resolution to something else, than back to your phone resolution, than you have to enable and disable the “Fill screen” option.It causes many problems as some people may just instantly think the app is broken on their phone and may result in them giving the app a bad review. It would be nice if this could be fixed, it would make it easier for those who have phones with oddly shaped displays.

I love your product and I am a massive fan of the direction that you are taking as a company. I do have a suggestion though:With the latest shadow app, it is asking me every time I connect to match my resolution with my macbook pro… which isnt a bad suggestion but it just looks clunky in windows 10 with the 200% scaling. Can we get an option to ignore the suggestion for future logins?ThanksTrav
ROBLOX avatar editor doesn't work on ShadowRejected
This bug is weird, because I can’t quite understand what is causing it or how it’s being caused. So basically, on ROBLOX there is an avatar editor built into the website where you can edit what your character looks like. About a month ago I noticed that moving from area to area within the avatar editor would cause pages to not load all the way, and then when you switched again nothing would load at all. This bug confused both me and ROBLOX support, and then today I realized the issue with the help of my dad. Shadow was the issue, for some reason, I don’t know why, but Shadow is causing the issue with ROBLOX’s website. The avatar editor works perfectly fine on my local PC, but for some odd reason that’s unexplainable to me, it doesn’t work on Shadow. Anyone got any ideas on why this could be?

Describe the bug xbox 360 microsoft receiver is not properly transferred from mac M1 to Shadow Steps to reproduce the bug (required) Install the driver Enable third party driver in launch utility (requires a restart holding the power button) Enable the driver (requires a restart) Plug the microsoft receiver and enable it on shadow Try to pair the controller: it fails Application/device, official or beta, and version number MacOS official launcher v4.27.5 | client v3.13.4 (would be cool to enable copy&paste from these numbers) Additional Context It works fine with an intel macintosh.

Issue/Describe the bugwhen controller turns itself off or i have to refresh shadow (changing from speed to reliability and back to speed(which causes controller to reconnect) because the shadow launcher occasionally due to bugs it has, for some reason stops sending the controllers signal into shadow forcing me to completely shut down shadow and restart it which is massively annoying.especially since the shadow launcher is detecing to fine and works locally just fine it just for some reason decides to stop sending the signal as a result game dont detect my controller even tho it still works for some things just not gamesthis is actually a step worse than the shadow bug (that still hasnt been fixed for maybe a year now, where i cant use my controller with no mans sky in shadow despite it working locally just fine with exact same settings on both local and in shadow(well not anymore since i dont have access anymore to my good local gaming rig so im stuck using shadow until i can someday a

This is a feature that is already available in Microsoft Remote Desktop for iPad and it works very well.There are two modes for touch input, and you can switch between modes at any time: Mode 1: Use touch to click on anything on the screen, so for example in this scenario:Right click a file and delete it: Touch on the file with hold, once context menu shows up, touch on delete.Mode 2: Use touch to interact with mouse cursor which always shows in the screen. Right so my shadow just got activated, And I have too say im astonished at just how good it really is you can now consider me a shadow fan..However, I found myself running out of storage instantly! I mean just Ark survival evolved is over 250GB The problem im talking about is when I went too get extra storage Now Im all about companies providing a service and making fair proffit for it hence why I havent ever complained once about the price increase of the monthly subscription. That being said I can go on ebay or amazon and buy a 1TB HDD for the price im paying too rent that much storage space for 1 month from Shadow I mean really cmon guys? the pricing for storage is quite literaly off the charts.Not too mention the fact that US customers are getting each storage incriment in $2.99 increments but Europeans are being charged the same but in out native currency *£* for example which effectivly means americans are getting it half price almost which btw would be better but still expenciv
Shadow forced to restart after opening BigNoxRejected
Issue/Describe the bugI just installed BigNox on shadow for windows 64 bit. It is an android emulator so you can play mobile games on teh pc. When I open it, i’m forced back to the start up (it says shadow needs time to get started). Can shadow change its auto shutdown pleaseRejected
I have done some checking and there have been other conversations on this. But can shadow as a company please reconsider its automatic shutdown process. This is now bordering on useless i went away to get dinner and came back to being shut down. I left it doing a download… it shutdown.. i left it converting a video file.. gues what it shut down. Now that the price has been doubles surely that should buy us a better timeout. If you did this on an office system you would not be kept as a vendor so why should we put up with it.Yes we get that some people start sessions then just leave them, but to me that is what it is for, yes it may impact others but there should be allowances for that in your provisioning. If we sign in on a set day it should work for that day, with a reset that night to release it. Then again the next day and so on, a half hour or less timout in current times is just bad. Random mouse clicksRejected
For the last month or so I have been having problems with random left mouse clicks. It seems to be sensing a long press of the left mouse button. For example in ESO my character will suddenly start heavy attacking. I can stop it most of the time by holding down the right mouse button to block. Also in shooter games it will perform a random mag dump such as with Ghost Recon. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the local mouse drivers as well as on the shadow. Also I uninstalled the Logitech hub on the local machine but it still did not remedy the problem . My network speed is around 480 Mbps with ping rates of 5ms to 15ms. The bug doesn’t occur on my local machine as well as when I am playing games on GeForce Now. Let me know if you need any more info.Thanks
Stutter while playing Creeper World 4 on SteamRejected
Describe the bug (required) Creeper World 4 on Steam has a stutter that seems to jerk roughly every 1 second when I stream using Shadow. If I start up the Shadow PC with my phone then stream the game using Steam then everything works perfectly. Unfortunately the Shadow shuts down after 30 min if I don’t keep tapping my phone. Other games on Steam work fine. I have a gigabit connection and get a pretty decent connection on the PC I’m trying to stream with. Steps to reproduce the bug (required) 1. Start shadow 2. Right click Steam icon in the system tray. 3. Select Creeper World 4 from the context menu. 4. On the main menu you can see the stutter. Note that it’s about once per second. 5. Start a mission and add a lot of units to the play field. Note that even with a lot going on in the game the stutter stays at once per second. Windows official Launcher v4.22.9 Client v3.9.8 Additional Context My computer is a 12ish year old gaming PC, but it’s still kinda ok.

Issue/Describe the bugWhen plugging an USB device (Joystick / Gamepad) on USB3.0 ports (blue ones) of the Shadow box an error occurs on Windows indicating that the device is not recognized. Applications/Devices: Shadow Box (Launcher V4.22.9 | Client V3.9.8) Steps to Reproduce:Goto to MyShadow account and reset My Shadow (Ready to play configuration) Wait for the reset to be completed Power on the Shadow Box Connect to the Shadow Once in Shadow Plug in the USB device on a USB3.0 ports of the Shadow Box After few seconds : An errror message appears on the right indicating that the last usb device connected is not recognized If you open the device manager and expend Universal Serial Bus Controllers section You see the device with a warning sign indicating : Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) This was tried on the 2 USB3.0 ports => same resultThis was tried with 3 different controllers / joystick => same resultThose controllers worked previously correctly

Issue/Describe the bugOn my Mac running the latest Big Sur, if I switch away from Shadow for more than a few seconds, mouse and keyboard input will stop working. The video from the PC does not stop, and the PC is definitely still running, but no more mouse and keyboard input will work. Describe the bug (required) Every 10 or so seconds, the mouse cursor freezes in place. Sometimes, the mouse is still usable, but the cursor is just frozen. Steps to reproduce the bug (required) Start the Shadow Use it. It is most noticeable in Chrome. Change of client IP breaks connectionRejected
Situation [on any MacOS]:1- I’m on public ip eg. 109.***.**.***, I reboot my router and i’m now on a new IP eg. 80.**.***.** 2- I was on a VPN by mistake(eg. work VPN) when I opened Shadow, now I disconnected and I’m back on my home IPExpected behaviour:Shadow auto-restarts the streaming and my interruption is just for a few seconds.Actual behaviour:Streaming freezes. Closing the Shadow Streaming app brings me back to the main Shadow app which can’t connect to the remote instance anymore. Closing ALL Shadow apps, and reopening them allows me to launch again the streaming, which brings me back to the remote Windows as I left it. I assume that there is an IP filter when launching the streaming, or some kind of safety feature. I would suggest reviewing this to allow people to be able to restart their home connection (eg. if the home router is having a hard time with wifi interferences) without having to close and re-open the whole app.ps. sometimes this also triggers a new login request,

Microphone in control failing since last updateRejected
The microphone ends up giving me a lot of problems. For some reason, connecting my headphones with microphone to the jack input of my laptop makes Shadow perform worse (packet losses and latency), and the solution I had was to connect my headphones with microphone through my Xbox Series S/X controller from the USB.But since the last update in which official Bluetooth support was given to the controllers, the microphone through the controller is no longer detected from one moment to another. This makes me having to connecting and disconnecting, resetting Shadow or having to pass it to the jack input of the laptop and play with poor performance. PS. I use Shadow connected via Ethernet.

Describe the bug (required) Shadow loads normally and is running Windows perfectly before the bug occurs Then on running a game (Borderlands 3 or Fortnite) the game loads, goes past various splash screens then minimizes to the task bar. When hovering the mouse over the icon in the task bar you can see the game is running and hear the game sounds/music but you are unable to switch to the game using alt tab, or selecting it in task manager or any other method I can think of. Steps to reproduce the bug (required) This bug is random, but has happened 3 or 4 times which is why I am reporting it to see if anyone has a fix or has also encountered it. Attempting to update my Shadow to use the beta version. It goes through the entire uninstall components (16), but then during the install components, it fails on number 4 always.
