Issue/Describe the bugClient monitor EDID information is no longer being correctly passed to Shadow VM - Results in the following issues:1. unable to set custom resolutions in nvidia control panel after launching client2. maximum resolution/refresh seems to be artificially limited on anything over 1440p- (DQHD, 5k2k, and 5k monitors no longer work with Shadow)3. “impersonated” EDID loaded in Shadow VM only allows 1080p when client monitor exceeds some new artificial limiter and “always match shadow resolution with local display” is checked in the client Applications/Devices:MacOSVersions:Current Versions of Alpha, Beta, and OfficialSteps to Reproduce:Using a Monitor Higher Than 2560x1440 (Tested 3440x1440@120, 5120x1440@120, 4096x2160@60&144, 5120x2280@60) Launch Shadow and select “always match shadow resolution with local display” in the client settings Choose a custom resolution in the above ranges Note that the client monitor information is not passed to the VM Note that the VM
Hello shadow team. It has happened already way to many times that keyboard shortcuts interfere with gaming if pressed by accident while a game is running. The most horrible and also the most common one it CMD + ALT + Q which will *ACTUALLY QUIT STREAMING*. This is almost never (perhaps actually never) what a user wants. Who would like to quit streaming “fast and easy”? The windows shut down menu works just fine. Also, notice that this is the only shortcut that uses the Q key, which is HEAVILY in use in most games. If you combine this with accidental key pressed or some games that have things like “self cast” which is ALT + something, this effect becomes catastrophic. It’s not even a menu popping up, it’s quitting stream. Mid-game. While self-casting. Please rethink these things. Making the keys configurable might be difficult, but at least an option to completely disable some or all shortcuts would be good enough for the near future. Thank you.
the login screen was a blank whiteness, preventing me from logging in.specifically only the login page(s).Luckily clicking “forget this site” in firefox browser history fixed it.meaning I successfully logged in despite this issue, which is good.but would still be a good idea to look into this issue.
Issue/Describe the bugWIN + ALT + F not working and also the full screen button not working, when I enter my shadow it starts out in windowed and when I try to full screen it won’t work. I have to restart my application about 4 times or 3 if I’m lucky and it has a chance to full screen. I have been dealing with this bug for over a month.Applications/Devices:LinuxVersions:It’s the newest stable version for ArchSteps to Reproduce:Full screened shadow for the first time a very long time ago Un full screened on accident about a month ago and this started to occurAdditional NotesSometimes if I get lucky also it has a chance to allow me to WINALTF then I don’t have to restart it but next time I launch into shadow it will be broken
When using an external USB mouse on iPad, scrolling works perfect until you diconnect the mouse for a short time and then reconnect it. Then you can only scroll horizontally, which is obviously a bug that has to be fixed. You have to restart Shadow to resolve the issue.
Mouse does not align properly. When using shadow in window mode, the mouse cursor does not select where it is showing. When I go to click on anything, I must move to the right many pixels over to be able to click on what I want. The distance between the item and cursor seems to expand the further right you go. The far left is not as bad and only off by a few, but at the far right of the screen it is impossible to select anything. Steps to reproduce the bug: 1. Start Shadow in window mode 2. Attempt to use mouse by selecting anything on screen 3. The cursor will select something other than what is selected This happened every time I opened window mode today.Application/device, official or beta, and version number: Windows official Launcher v4.28.7 Client v3.14.6 Provide any additional information herePC processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1185G7 @ 3.00GHz 1.80 GHz 16 GB RAM 64-bit op sys Windows 10 Pro - v 21H1 Dell Latitude 7420
