It depends on how much your willing to pay. The ghost itself is nice for the platform in its self, theoretically you can probably use something like this.

It’s really iffy though and i usually don’t recommend it, the ghost might honestly be better. You can also try an intel NUC with at least an i3 processor, that will definitely work. You can cheap that way too by buying all low specs and then getting the i3 processor and it’ll run shadow like butter. There’s a third pretty experimental option too, not sure if anyone’s tried it but the newest gen of rasberry pi’s have some monster processors and can run full blown desktop applications now. Sooooo in theory if you played around with them a bit you can run shadow and it’ll be the cheapest option.

This will be a proper solution. it works fine and is around 220 usd.

Nvidia Shield is a good option, although the Shadow Android client is a bit lacking, and doesn’t have any surround-sound support.

Have you tested? can you get good images from it? like 4k resolution and stable connection?

I have the ghost but it’s so limited, it seems that they’re focusing more on PC software development

I saw this thread was bumped, and noticed my comment here...we do get surround-sound when using the Android client on Shield TV, when using the “Steam Streaming Speakers” workaround.

Any andriod box will run shadow pc.

You can get decent on on amazon for $50-$100 bucks usd

where do I get Shadow OS installed on the Shadow Ghost?

Hey @Samir
You can’t just download and use the Operating system that the Ghost is using. However, there is a community driven alternative called Shadow Live OS, which is a lightweight operating system that’s meant to run Shadow on thin clients (and normal PCs): https://gitlab.com/NicolasGuilloux/shadow-live-os

I use this...good enough.  I wanted the 2 HDMI ports.
