Anyone play this game on shadow yet? I hear it's really hard on pcs. Just checking before I pay $70 for the game and get low fps.
On infinite, on the same settings as in my screenshot, but running at 4k instead of 1080, I get about 55 fps. That’s how awesome the infinite is. XD
Personally, I care more about stuttering or tearing than I do about FPS, as those things are noticeable. There’s been times where my TV reverts to 30hz and I just think “hmm it’s running a little slow” and don’t realize the setting reverted to 30 for a few days. Personally I don’t think anything above 60 is even really noticeable. The only point in fps above 60 is for a competitive game like a shooter, so there is near-zero interference between you and the game, which can give you an edge over someone who has higher interference than you do. A razor thin edge, to be sure, but still an edge.
Then again, I just did buy a 240hz 1440p monitor, so…. We’ll see if I still feel that way after it gets here. lol. But absolutely more frames than your hz is pointless, and my 4K tv maxes at 60hz.
Even Watch Dogs with raytracing and DLSS enabled.
We need to be clear, that you have the Infinite package. Only Ultra and Infinite will have ray-tracing and DLSS...Boost will not.
Got Valhalla and also among others Watch Dogs Legion sponsored by Ubisoft. Both games run great on my Shadow with the highest settings.
Even Watch Dogs with raytracing and DLSS enabled. I don't always have full 60 FPS, but you don't need that in Valhalla or in WD Legions. You can also play these games with 40 FPS.
They are not pure shooter games.
But many people want to have 60 FPS, no matter if they need it or not. But they think if they have 60FPS, that it is good.
But many can also play with 30 FPS. As said in Shootern it is then something else there 60FPS are already obligation.
I’ll post a benchmark for you. Any particular settings you want me to set for the benchmark? Like, what resolution do you want to test at, for instance?

Have you checked out the reddit at all? Maybe someone posted any benchmarks or anything similar?
I have played Valhalla on Shadow, but not via traditional PC download. I played via Google Stadia as well as occasionally GeForce Now. Both with 30fps
