Apologies if this is the wrong Section. Scenario:Wired Afterglow xBox 360 Controller with Samsung s10e (Android 10) Manufacturer and 3rd Party OTGResult:R-Stick loses control of the Camera and/or does not translate Gamepad Controls from In-game SettingsSummary:Due to "Technology", the easy answer is xBox One Controller...if you can find one. (My order was cancelled due to no stock)I personally have a Moga Pro that works, but the updated Version is supposed to work with Android and Windows 10.*DisclaimerI don't work for any of the companies mentioned and have not tested the updated Moga controller. Hope this helps👊🏾
Tried to install WSL2 and docker but failled to get this working. Docker tells me correctly to install the linux kernel, but the linux kernel installation fails. Just curious if this is even possible on Shadow? Device manager shows an issue with Microsoft Hyper-V Virtual machine bus driver, saying “ Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)” .
I’m using pro tools and my eleven rack audio interface works fine for routing sound to my speakers for video games but refuses to route sound out of pro tools. I’m thinking maybe it’s pro tools.. has anyone had any success/failure with any other DAWs? or any advice on why it’s not working? Any ideas on a workaround?
Hi folks,I need a bit of help here. I bought a screen with 5120 x 2160p x 60 Hz resolution and have now noticed that the Shadow Ghost does not support the format and I need a device with DP. Can anyone recommend a cheap device to me what this resolution can represent?
Both me and my roomie are Shadow users, but we’ve both run into an issue. Whenever he loads up games like Valheim or 7 Days to Die, the video does not seem to connect with the game. As in the game will load but the mouse appears locked behind the game window as far as rotating the camera goes, but click will still perform whatever action it’s supposed to in whichever game. Example, in Valhiem right clicking is guarding and left clicking is attacking. Both of which still work but sliding the mouse from one side of the mousepad to the other will not make the camera rotate around you. All options for the game and steam were exhausted in attempting to fix this and it’s been suggested at this point by mutual friends that it may be an issue with shadow.
Could someone help me find either a desktop, mini pc, or something that can run Shadow at 144hz 1080p? (Would be greatly appreciated) Requirements: Needs to be able to output 144hz via DisplayPort. Windows 10 Preinstalled (Don’t care if it’s fanless or not, if you have a question feel free to ask.)
Hey my dudes. So I’m running shadow off of my new Nvidia shield. I set up VirtualHere, and it solved 99 percent of my mouse problems. I have one more glaring problem, however. When I boot up Titanfall or any other FPS game, the mouse cursor is frozen right over the crosshair. This issue is temporarily resolved by hitting the windows key and hiding the mouse off to the side. However, when I pause the game again, I need to hit the windows key again and move the cursor away from the middle of the screen.Has anyone else had the problem? It’s super annoying. Any fixes? I’ve tried windowed mode and everything.
Hi guys recently I bought a professional mic and an audio interface Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen and after installing the device software shadow does not recognise the focusrite sound driver, does anyone had this issue before? Please guys let me know, happy holidays, Miky
I probably along with dozens of shadow users would love to use our sim racing setups because shadow can run all the racing games we can want, I would love to use my Thrustmaster TMX for my steam games because my laptop (Acer Nitro 5) isn't as powerful as shadow. The service is great other than the wheel support, I’d love to see what shadow team can do for us in the future
Hi, i‘m thinking about buying a Gaming Mouse and Keyboard but I have absolutely no clue what to look for and i‘m a little worried about compatibility. I use a MacBook 13’. When I first started using Shadow I bought a Mouse from Sharkoon which I couldn’t configure because the drivers weren’t working on Shadow. So I would love to not do that again. So what do I have to look for when buying a gaming Keyboard and Mouse? Are there any recommendations? Thank you.
I currently run an audio-technica AT2020 USB cardioid condenser mic. I have problems with the mic “disconnecting” from Shadow as if it were unplugged. In the past, this used to require a complete restart of my Shadow to fix. Now it just requires me to unplug/replug the mic. I have 1000/100 for bandwidth (Comcast cable). My ping ranges between 30-35ms from Oregon to the Santa Clara datacenter. Any tips for keeping it connected?
I have cox gigablast. I hit at least 350MBps on WiFi and I hit around 600+ on eathernet. Running on an HP Envy with windows 10. I have no issues playing games like cyberpunk 2077 through steam, but I have issues with other platforms. I recently got ubisoft+ and when trying games like watchdogs legion or farcry 5 I have video stutter. It makes it unplayable. I've dropped my bandwidth allocation to 15-20MBps through shadow and that helps some what. Though that makes my experience terrible with a blury image. I've tried any settings I could find, including dropping the graphic quality in these games and it doesn't seem to help. I feel running CP2077 on med-high graphics and it working should show it could handle FarCry 5 no problem on low settings. If any one has any idea what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there, As we all know Shadow is supported on Windows, Mac and android systems. But will Shadow also support ChromeOS in the future? I am currently using the Acer Chromebook Spin 13. A fine pretty fast chromebook and with the fast internet connection at work (and home) it would be amazing to have the luxery of ChromeOS and the flexibility of windows through Shadow. Is there anyone from the Dev Team who can tell if it will be supported anywhere in the future? Cuz if not there is not really a point for me to keep my Shadow subscribtion. Then I just use Gefore Now from Nvidia which works fine for gaming on CHromeOS and at home I got a monster PC so yeah.. Thanks in advance.
Hey All - This is my first post, but I didn’t see this being discussed yet. Has anyone been playing Valheim on Shadow? I have had Shadow for 6 months or so, and overall its been a fantastic service and games play wonderfully. However Valheim has had mediocre performance. Admittedly I ussually play on 4K resolution (i have base level Shadow). However dropping down to 1080p has not made much of a difference. I am usually getting around 30 FPS. If I drop all settings to absolute minimum with lower resolution i can get maybe 50 FPS. It’s not an overly graphical game, and I dont see the computer system manager spiking too much.Anyone else had similiar experience? Any tips to increase the FPS?
I am running macOS Big Sur (11.2.1) but for the life of me can’t get my Xbox One controller to connect. The Xbox controller is plugged into my Mac via hardwire USB.I don’t even see any USB settings in the Shadow macOS launcher. What am I missing? Here is the version of the Shadow client I am running:
