Hi,I was going to buy a Powera Xbox One wired controller. Is this likely to work on Shadow with the Windows 10 client? I know it is not on the official tested list but it seems to be a popular and low cost option. Is there a better choice out there at or about the price point - about half the cost of a Microsoft controller.CheersBen
Integrated Intel HD 4400 Graphics hardware until now was unusable on Linux, see https://github.com/NicolasGuilloux/blade-shadow-beta/issues/12 or https://blade-de.zendesk.com/hc/de/articles/360011067120-Bekannte-Fehler-im-Linux-Client#h_01EC5DX63WJMSNG7FCXRK10ECB.This still is not solved with client 3.7.5, but at least you can now switch to the new software rendering, which imo is a very acceptable workaround. Finally I can use my old HP Probook 430 G1.Regards, Heinz
From reading some posts, not all Shadow clients are created equal?Do any of them support 4k, HDR and surround sound? If so, for that client, what silent device would be capable of handling the 4k video stream without issue and also output HDR? And has support for wireless gaming keyboard and mouse?I have an Apple TV 4k, but don’t think I can use a keyboard and mouse with it?If building my own PC, does anyone know what kind of system offers a silent GPU with 4k HDR support? And would I have to look for something special to have surround out, or will that be on every motherboard?Alternatively, if the Mac client is good, what is an Apple Mac Mini capable of in terms of output? Finally, is anything in HDMI 2.1 spec relevant to Shadow, or is it just a simple constant frame rate (60Hz?) video stream that HDMI 2.0a devices can handle?
Apologies if this is the wrong Section. Scenario:Wired Afterglow xBox 360 Controller with Samsung s10e (Android 10) Manufacturer and 3rd Party OTGResult:R-Stick loses control of the Camera and/or does not translate Gamepad Controls from In-game SettingsSummary:Due to "Technology", the easy answer is xBox One Controller...if you can find one. (My order was cancelled due to no stock)I personally have a Moga Pro that works, but the updated Version is supposed to work with Android and Windows 10.*DisclaimerI don't work for any of the companies mentioned and have not tested the updated Moga controller. Hope this helps👊🏾
Hi guys! First I do apologise if this has been posted before but I tried to find info about it and I couldn’t and because of that this is my question: How to I enable my laptop cam on shadow? I know that in order to run a cam with shadow you need a really good connection but I tried to enable my cam when I use shadow on my laptop and I couldn’t find out how, please guys If anyone could give a good answer I would be very happy, Cheers!
Hi Guys, Maybe i want to buy the new chromecast with Google TV. Do you guys have any experience how well the Shadow Android TV app is working on this device?I am planning to use it with the Xbox One Wireless controller. Its a fairly new device and i am hoping somebody tested it and can give me some feedback :) Its maybe a good alternative from the Shadow Ghost, is cheap and the availability is better than he shadow Ghost (havent seen the Ghost in stock for a long time in the EU sadly).
Gonna be trying shadow and wanted a pretty cheap decent device that’d run 1440p and 4k (Thinking of upgrading to the better plans when/if they are available) Link to device: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082VZP76P/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A19DTZHT4S76Z5&psc=1 It says it supports 5Ghz wifi but should I just get ethernet cable anyway for faster speeds, If I do get this machine?
Hello, I just bought a Shadow Box to an ex member for use 2 monitors with display ports. I have a 24" Qled samsung and an Asus TUF 32" V32VQ1B.When I plug in the Asus screen alone, the image is not stable, not sharp. The resolution is directly in 1440p and I can’t change it (monitor or Shadow. When I plug in both screens, only the Samsung 24" works. The Asus 32" tells me no signal.Do you think the problem comes from the resolution of the 32" which is too high for the Shadow Box with 2 screens to manage? Or are both screens no longer managed by the Shadow Box?Thanks for help, I hope there will be:)
