I had my first experience in attempt to render a high resolution single image for a world map and was cut off. The image was being rendered in the Eevee engine and it said it was going to take about 38 minutes. I understand that if a user is idle that you turn them off to save resources. However I was actually using Shadow for the reason why I signed up for it in the first place. My original attitude of satisfaction of this service has vanished.
I have real issues when trying to use an xbox controller for elite dangerous over shadow from a Windows 10 laptop. Controller works fine in all other games, is recognised by shadow and can control steam big picture. I've tried running the game from big picture, changing all the general controller settings still no joy. The only thing that gets it working is restarting shadow over and over, and then it seems totally random when the controller is recognised in game. Anyone else have this issue with elite dangerous in particular? Do I need to connect the controller in a certain order or something? (Ps the Controller works on nvidia now for elite dangerous, which is what I have to resort too of I can't be bothered to restart loads! Booo ) Everything else is great though and shadow is the best thing since bannas came in bunches.
Related Info: Fiber connection 100+Mb (virgin Media) Using Shadow Ghost on WiFi Hi community, I have been struggling to find the perfect setup for connection reliability for my Shadow. I have been recently working from home and have been using my MSI laptop for streaming my Shadow PC. I have have minor issues with it but mainly due to my powerline adapter, sometimes the connection drops to an usable state and I have to swap to WiFi, but my MSI only connects to 2.4Ghz connection. I have decided to plug my Ghost back in and use this over the WiFi at 5Ghz connection. I have checked my router settings and it shows the Ghost on a 5Ghz connection, it has an as good a speed as my Samsung S10+ but, when I login and run a automatic speed test it suggests to run with around 10Mb bandwidth? There aren’t many devices on the network that would cause the connection to deteriorate, but it is becoming more frustrating to use. Using my ghost, I have to constantly restart the streaming because t
Hi all, Please can you recommend a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the Shadow Ghost? Do they work by connecting to the Shadow Ghost box directly or via a usb dongles? Are you able to pair keyboard, mouse and controller via Bluetooth at the same time? Thanks Will
I completely understand the reason for not supporting RPI3, which is fair enough I accept that, but would shadow ever consider putting in place a method of supporting the use of parsec (in terms of detecting inactivity) I plan on installing parsec on my shadow so I can use shadow on my rpi connected to my tv (which works flawlessly with my Google Cloud VM - changing from this to shadow due to costs once free trial runs out) I don’t mind using the mobile shadow app whilst using parsec to confirm my activity every 30mins, but would obviously prefer not to if possible
Hey y’all I just started learning Blender for a research project. I found that using shadow on my iPad has led to some really cool tricks with the Apple Pencil and blender. I don’t know too much but I thought it would be great to start a thread for people to ask questions and help each other in learning blender.
So I heard that Shadow supports Android and iOS mobile devices, aka your phone and tablet. I was wondering, however, how would you be able to play PC-made games that weren’t designed for mobile. Do you need a controller? Will Shadow give you on-screen controls? What happens and how does it work?
Has anyone else had trouble linking their Playstation account to their GoG Galaxy account? It keeps saying that the connection times out when attempting to login to the Playstation account via the Galaxy program. I would normally chalk it up to an issue with GoG, but since it is so difficult to get the app installed in the first place, I'm wondering if it's an issue between Shadow and the program itself.
I have a mouse with 2 side programmable buttons but when i use them on shadow they do the same actions as the right click and left click do. E.g. if im on Minecraft and i have the side buttons for like a assigned hotbar number or sprint key it completely ignores that and just left/right clicks instead
Hey everyone, I just got my Shadow activated yesterday and I’m loving it. My one issue is that Logitech G Hub doesn’t seem to recognize shadow when it’s running. I’m on MacOS and I often have my side buttons on my G305 to switch between spaces and my middle mouse button to mission control but G Hub turns it off automatically when I have specific programs running. The problem is that even after adding Shadow to G Hub it doesn’t seem to recognize that it is open and doesn’t de-activate the custom side and middle mouse buttons. Is there a fix to this at all?
I’m using the Mac OSX Shadow client to stream my ShadowPC. I’m using Stream Labs however can’t find the option to hide my cursor with window capture for browser streaming, is there a way around this? I tried using CMD Option M to display the normal cursor however that didn’t work either. Also I tried going into the Windows 7 old option where hide cursor is enabled but can’t with the newer hardware which is on the ShadowPC. Regards
Hi All, Started playing Doom Eternal on my Shadow Boost and loving it! But recently when launching it comes up with a window asking me to upgrade my Nvidia Quadro drivers up too the most up to date ones. Says I have an older version installed. I thought Shadow kept the drivers up to date normally (Yes I have that option checked to auto update Windows and Graphics Drivers) So wondering, should I update them manually? Doom Eternal runs without issues other than the box asking to either upgrade or run anyway.
