I have a mouse with 2 side programmable buttons but when i use them on shadow they do the same actions as the right click and left click do. E.g. if im on Minecraft and i have the side buttons for like a assigned hotbar number or sprint key it completely ignores that and just left/right clicks instead

Give reWASD a try. Install it on your shadow and see if it picks up your mouse and keyboard.
if so select add a remap and click the mouse keys you want to remap. If rewasd can pick up the two additional buttons then you can remap them. Worst case rewasd cant pick up the two added mouse buttons eg captures left/right click then you can just uninstall it.
No games think its a different button from mg experience only when im on a normal pc or laptop it detects it but on shadow it doesnt. When im tryna change the settings it wont detect it so i dont think reWASD will work but ill try it ty

If rewasd also picks them up as left/right click then dex is not forwarding the button inputs.
