Will ChromeOS also be supported in the future?

Hi there,

As we all know Shadow is supported on Windows, Mac and android systems. But will Shadow also support ChromeOS in the future?

I am currently using the Acer Chromebook Spin 13. A fine pretty fast chromebook and with the fast internet connection at work (and home) it would be amazing to have the luxery of ChromeOS and the flexibility of windows through Shadow.

Is there anyone from the Dev Team who can tell if it will be supported anywhere in the future? Cuz if not there is not really a point for me to keep my Shadow subscribtion. Then I just use Gefore Now from Nvidia which works fine for gaming on CHromeOS and at home I got a monster PC so yeah..

Thanks in advance.

Hey there!  We actually are working on providing Chromebook Support, which we talk about in our February update: https://shadow.tech/blog/news/chromebook-and-next-gen-controller-support

If you have any further questions, just ask!

Hi thanks for your quick reply.

I have one more question actually. I followed the instructions of the link you posted and downloaded the bèta version. Though Shadow still feels very laggy to me. Even though I am running it at at least 40 mb/s.

Do you have any tips or tricks how I can improve my experience? Or is it because its still work in progress?

Thanks in advance!
