Ethernet connection: Fios Gig (avg 900+ mbps)

MacBook Pro 2017, 15” 2880X1800 native resolution

70 Mb/s streaming settings

Problem:

I get consistently low FPS when playing games (~<30FPS) when set to their default settings, games include: The Long Dark, Valheim, Offworld Trading Company, For the King, Fallout 4, etc.

For the games that are more FP oriented, I often get drops to the single digits during play

Question:

What can be done?
