So I have multiple systems in the house including 1440p Monitors, tablets and 120 Hz phones. but when I really wanna kick back and relax I fire my Shadow on my nvidia shield pro (ghost out of stock) on the big LG Oled 65” TV. So my question is the following.

  1. Would Shadow support 4k at 120 Hz?
  2. from my understanding the HDMI cable on both the shield pro and Ghost are usually the issue causing a limit of 60 Hz is that correct? and if so would we have changes for that in the future?

Thank you <3

ad 1) 4k at 60

ad 2) Getting the 4k at 60 to your tv the whole chain has to support it.

Among them there is the HDMI output if it is a HDMI 1.4 output then it only goes up to 4k at 30 while HDMI 2.0 goes up to 4k at 60 and HDMI 2.1 supports 4k at 120.

So in case of Shadow and your TV you will need a device able to run Shadow with an HDMI 2.0 or higher output. An HDMI cable which supports 18GB/s or higher throughput. And finally your TV to display it all in4k at 60.
