Why my shadow can't detect gamepad
It’s been at least a day now. If Shadow is working and the problem persists, it’s possible that your controller isn’t compatible with Shadow (yet) or is having driver issues. I recently bought a Carbon Black Xbox Series X controller and the controller is detected but the button mappings are completely misconfigured, rendering the controller basically useless, over Bluetooth. Still not sure why.
Did you try looking up the model of your controller and if anyone else has had a similar problem?

Is your controller usable by your host machine? You need to pair your controller to your local device, before it will work properly, if not. Shadow cannot detect gamepads directly.

What controller are you using and how are you connected (Bluetooth or wired)?
