So, I was bored. And then I did this. Honestly it works extremely well! The Switch only gets about 4 hours when running shadow, which works pretty well!

How did you do this? Would love to try this on my own Switch.
Does it support basic controls using the joycons as well as the touch screen natively
It supports everything! Touch screen, joycons, etc, etc. You can even plug a keyboard and mouse into the dock and use it like that!
Can you share a link to your build to test it myself thanks..

Now this THIS is a wonderful idea!
Should definitely share with the forum how you did it. ;)
It’s running Android on the Nintendo Switch. This is one of two ways this is possible. The other is to use Moonlight-nx (a Homebrew nro) and launch the Shadow client with it on another PC. But I know this is Android due to the Quick Menu icon.
You need a Fusee Gelee vulnerable Nintendo Switch to get started. I don’t know if
I’ve personally done the same thing using Android Pie. You must build this yourself, install Gapps and get Shadow from the Play Store. It’s too much for this forum but if your Switch is vulnerable, you can start in the switchroot Discord.
It’s also worth mentioning the two joycons are combined into an emulated single controller that’s very similar to a 360 controller. For the most part this is fine, but ZL/ZR are mapped as digital buttons and the Shadow Android app expects analog triggers. I posted a workaround for joycond in Android Pie in the switchroot Discord.
But this takes time and it’s really for people who have too much of it :)

Thank you for this, I have a Pie build running on my Switch that I did in early April (I don’t have the build environment anymore though ), and I always struggled with the Joy-Cons, can you go into any more detail? Happy to take it into Discord if you like?
And to do this you just need a windows PC that can read SD. “XDA forum android on switch”
Hey, were your joycon recognized as combined or do you have 3 controllers connected ? I'm having this issue and I'm trying to know if it's just me or if everyone have this issue on switchroot 10 !
