windows 10 game bar?

Hi,

I need to use game bar to join a friends party but every time I press Win + G it opens my actual pcs game bar? Is there a way to change it to something else?

From what I know, the game bar doesn't work on Shadow.

the game bar doesn’t work because of the shortcut but i haven’t find any way to change it sorry.

doesnt work on shadow, i forgot why (ive read it somewhere) but it somehow interfere with shadow’s thing and that’s why it doesnt work (i think it’s about the streaming service not the actual pc)

I assume you need the Xbox app installed.  If you install the Xbox app on the PC you can chat and use similar features as the game bar.  Try that.

Does anyone from Shadow know the answer to this? Can’t join my friends Xbox Party chat because it requires the Game Bar :(

I believe the Game bar is working, however you cannot see it, because the stream does not include the windows overlay.

 

However, I have successfully joined my friends Xbox party through the Xbox Console Companion app and the Xbox (beta) app. I had a better experience with the Xbox Console Companion app. Don’t forget to enable your microphone in shadow :)

Yes I know, but not to soon I hope. Because I had a far better experience with the parties and I still use it to stream my Xbox :)
