Red Dead Redemption 2 - After recent patch game crashes from main menu when choosing Single player, Multiplayer or Settings. It affects all of the shadow users I believe and some other unlucky folks. Im honestly surprised its not a thread here yet. There is a lot of threads on steam and other forums. My copy is thru Steam , but I believe it doesn't matter muchAny recommendations online were not able to resolve this issue incl:Editing settings. file to switch DX12 to Vulkan and back Windowed or fullscreenHDR On/OffAsync On/OffReinstalling whole game Reinstalling / updating drivers Logging in under new user Run as administrator (game wont even start)Running game in Offline mode - Forever loading screenWindows Event viewer doesnt show any reason for app crashing.Literally nothing works, last update just bricked the game completely for us My only guess knowing shadow system is some kind of game/online protection that now affects Shadow remote machines. I submitted a ticked to Rockstar. Hop
First, let’s make things right. Shadow is not a library of games. And that’s a good thing. Because it’s much much more! Why? Just because. But also: 👉 On Shadow, you can play any game from Steam, EpicStore, etc. pretty much any game launcher you like! 👉 You’re more of an Indie game player? We’ve got you covered: you can download your favorite games on Shadow! 👉 And of course, do much more than gaming. But if you’re here, we bet you already knew that! So yes, Shadow can support pretty much any game under specific conditions: as long as Shadow meets the hardware requirements for a specific game and the developer allows virtualization, we’re all set! That being said, you wanted us to publish a list of games that we tried on Shadow. Unfortunately, we don’t have someone (yet?) to try ALL the games that exist on Shadow (if we do, please help me get that job). In the meantime, here is a list of popular games among Shadow users: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare L
As it’s one of the biggest releases of 2020, and one of the most demanding and beautiful, I thought it’d be good to have a discussion going! I’m personally having little luck! The full install is a massive 152Gb, which unfortunately is greater than the (roughly) 125Gb you have available with Shadow if just keeping the essential files. Doesn’t look like additional storage is available at the moment so I’m out of luck. Has anybody else had any joy with it? Would be a great title to show off :)
Hi #TeamShadow 😃 Lately over at Shadow HQ, we’ve been thinking a lot about all the cool stories we’ve seen from you all. When you join #TeamShadow, you officially embark on a new and unique journey, with Shadow by your side, to accomplish your biggest dreams and loftiest ambitions. So tell us, what cool things do you do with your Shadow? We want you to show it off! Need a little inspiration? Here are some questions to get you started: What have you been able to accomplish thanks to Shadow? What is your most proud moment since you had Shadow? What next dream to do you plan to tackle with the help of Shadow? What’s a place you’ve played Shadow at that surprised you? What device(s) have you played Shadow on that surprised you? Let the storytelling begin!
This question was probably asked a few different times, however. This is something I wondered for a while, so I’d like to know, what games do you play the most and since there are some games that have problems running on the Shadow, what games have you had problems with so far? I play a few different games, alternating between these every so often. I play Half Life: Alyx, Escape from Tarkov, Star Citizen, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Apex Legends, Beat Saber and a few others.
hi whenever i play any audio, my audio starts cutting out. i have my bandwidth on 70mbps (i have gigabit internet) , and Ive tried connecting directly to my router and using the 5ghz band, ive also tried using “prefer reliability” instead of “prefer speed”. any tips to make this stop?
So I’ve been using Shadow for coming up to a year. I recently got a sub for Playstation Now. I first installed it on my laptop PC but would like to use it in the Shadow. Has anyone done this? I tried it once before but back then the Shadow had trouble recognizing my PS4 Dualshock controller. I know I have to download the DS4Windows thingie and so forth on the Shadow to get started on this, but before I begin all that is there anyone here who does PS Now on their Shadow? And if so, do you have any tips?
Morning All, Really hope someone on here can help with this one as I haven’t found a single working solution online and Microsoft don’t seem to care. Basically any game that is in the XBOX Game Pass (PC) app or Windows Store that states “Administrator Approval Required for Installation” will not update if it was installed prior to that note being added or install at all. Example Gears Tactics was working fine until it needed an update and now the update won’t download. Uninstalling works but then you can’t reinstall as it won’t download. Streets of Rage 4 does not have that note and installs and updates without issue. I have reset my shadow, updated Windows completely and have all the latest drivers installed and the result is the same. Prior to this Steam, GOG, Epic and other launchers all worked fine with out issue. Anyone have any ideas?
Hello,I have taken a shadow subscription especially to play Eldin Ring but it occurs the game is literally not playable, even with low settings and 720p. I read a lot of article about a collaboration between Bandai/Namco and Shadow so I was thinking the game can be played. It is not the case. I am very disappointed and I think I will cancel my subscription.Am I the only one in this situation ?Thanks
So, the story here is (it is a TLDR story don’t worry): I bought an Oculus Quest a couple of months ago. Enjoyed the library of games. Then looked to getting into PCVR. Didn’t want to spend $$$$$ on a VR capable PC. Saw Shadow. Bought. Waited. Activated. Installed Steam, added 256GB extra HDD. Bought & installed Half Life Alyx. Installed Virtual Desktop on the Quest, then sideloaded to get full capabilities. Fiddled with settings in Virtual Desktop to get best experience. I am like 30 or so miles from the datacenter so latency is a non-issue (SO HAPPY) I am probably, right now, half-way through the game. Only complaints I have with the VR experience is when my internet (xfinity) has a wobble and the network lags causing 2fps for a few seconds. Sometimes need to reboot the Quest / Shadow to jump back in without lag issues. All in all, experience is at an 8/10. Most of the time it is a 9/10 due to my good internet and close proximity to the datacenter
hello, so they’re is this infamous problem with PSO2NGS that made the game mostly unplayable, is that the game when launched after a minuts or two, get you a message like “Error NP1013”, this error is linked to Nprotect gameguard, it would be great if the Shadow team would contact the Sega team about this, since from what i’ve seen, i’m clearly not alone in that case and i mostly get my shadow for Pso2 ngs, to see that i can’t play it is somewhat awful. but if anyone have a solution to my problem, i would love to heard it, thank you
Is anyone playing Modern Warfare on Shadow? How are you finding it? Sometimes it feels like I’m 1 second behind everyone else, but as the saying goes, “A bad workman always blames his tools”. I get about a 30ms ping reported by the Shadow client and usually have 40mbps+ bandwidth.

Hello there, As many of you know, Vanguard, the new Riot anti-cheat system, denied Shadow players' access to Valorant. Discussions between Blade and Riot are in progress, but final decision is up to Riot. To show to Riot how we are determinate and impatient to play Valorant, we have launched the #FreeValorantShadow and a petition with about 50 signatures at the moment. If you want to play Valorant, feel free to share your wishes on twitter with #FreeValorantShadow Edit : petition link - - > http://chng.it/PBbM9x6VWh
