Hey guys I got the Razer kishi hoping to use it with shadow on my phone, seems like the perfect add on to shadow. The only issue is as soon as I touch any of the analogue sticks or triggers it crashes the shadow app. Iv tried the beta aswell and does the same. I have a Samsung S20 ultra and I hear it's a Samsung issue but all the current reviewers for it have obviously been paid to review as they aren't testing it with Samsung phones. If anyone on the shadow tech team had any ideas why it's crashing the app and confirm its not on their end where the issue is that would be great.
Sometimes when I’m playing Borderlands 3 or Deep Rock Galactic, and I’m just doing normal keystrokes to like move around in the game (WASD etc.) Windows 10 will show some random UI and intercept the keystrokes from the game. Like Start Menu type stuff. Almost like Shadow thinks I’m holding down the Windows / Command key on my keyboard (I’m not). Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround? Thank you.
Yesterday, my Shadow had some difficulty while logging into my account and linking to my Shadow. But after waiting a bit, I was able to use it with no problems whatsoever. But today when I was trying to link to my Shadow, the login panel lagged and made a windows message pop up because the program was not responding. So I waited till I got to the startup screen where you turn your Shadow on. But the button was not red this time, oh no. It was gray, and it said “Turn Shadow Back On”. What??? My Shadow was never on today! So I try to “Turn my Shadow back on”, and it just starts loading on an infinite loop. For some context, I have been using my WiFi at home for this, but I have had no problems with it for over 6 months until now all of a sudden. I will give updates as to what happens, but as of now, they are going to reset my machine to factory settings. Hopefully that helps??? But if that doesn’t work… Then I guess I can’t play Skyrim or The Division 2 anymore. R.I.P my Skyrim
Hi! I’m trying to run SteamVR on my Oculus Quest from a Shadow PC. It’s the only reason I subscribe to this service. I’ve installed the Oculus software on my Shadow PC, as well as Steam and SteamVR. When I connect my headset to my Macbook with a USB 2 cable, and forward the device to the Shadow host, the Oculus software detects it and I’m able to run SteamVR successfully -- but the performance is completely unacceptable. When I connect my headset using a USB 3 cable, or using the Oculus Link cable, the Oculus software fails to detect the headset and tells me that no headset is connected. So it appears that your software can successfully forward USB 2 devices, but can NOT forward USB 3 devices? I can switch between the two cables and see the headset go from detected → not detected → detected again. I’ve tried uninstalling the USB drivers from Shadow launcher, and reinstalling them. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Oculus software on my Shadow PC. I’ve tried rebooting b
Every time I use shadow on my laptop all sound from Shadow cuts out after about a minute and is replaced by silence. This happens whether I’m on stable or beta, have high quality audio enabled or disabled. I love using shadow but if I don’t get sound there is no point in using it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I am in Dallas and pre-ordered shadow on 04/23. From previous posts I understand that activation should occur before the end of June. I was in the midst of a 90 day trial period which ended 06/06 but had been able to access and play my games up until 06/09. I went in today (06/14) to check on my activation status and when I select either the “Subscription & Billing” or “My Orders” tabs I get a blank webpage. refreshing either page puts me back at “My Account”. In addition, where once next to “My Orders” there was a (1), there is now a (0). I get the same blank page both in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I noticed in another thread some one mentioned this might be because I am currently being activated but as of yet I have not received an activation email. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated as I have loved the service up to this point. thanks!
Hi, I am currently running Shadow on my Macbook Air and I love it. The way I use it is that I will have discord open on Mac OS and the Shadow application open running my games. The problem that I am having is with Discord’s Screen share function. It is not allowing me to screen share my Shadow application but I can screen share my browser and other applications that are open on my Mac. Is this an issue with discord? Mac OS permissions? Or Shadow itself? Any help or troubleshooting tips would be much appreciated!
This question may seem a bit off topic on this forum but it has been really bugging me. Does anyone know how I add more rows on an Excel Template. I gives you like 10 pre configured rows but I need more, I have tried searching the interent but found nothing on how to do it. Any sort of help would be much appriciated. Hi, I am still waiting for my Shadow to be activated and I am trying to get everything set up before it does. Okay here is my situation, I have two devices that could run shadow, a 5 year old PC with a dual core CPU and a Samsung Galaxy S7. I would preferably like to run it on my PC but my circumstances requires a wifi connection and my PC only supports 2.4Ghz. I would be fine with running it on my phone but the lack of USB connections worries me, so I was wondering, would it be possible to use a usb hub for my phone to connect a mouse, keyboard, webcam, and headset? I’m not sure how shadow handles USB connections on its app so that’s why I’m asking here. Thanks.
Really fed up now. It's taking an hour of multiple reboots and driver reinstall's to get USB devices to forward. No help from support and even reformatted my local machine. On the verge of cancelling my card as the service is not fit for purpose. Shadow used to be good but has got significantly worse. I signed up for 12 months but the service is now awful, I want out.
Right when can I actually get shadow? I’ve been waiting for a while ago as I was a shadow customer in the past but cancelled it as I never got the chance to use it due to work commitments, but now I don’t I’m really wanting to get into it again, I’m currently away with work for 6 month and don’t have a gaming pc I have my iPad, this is where shadow would come in really usually as I could use my controller, and wireless keyboard and mouse to play games and keep me occupied, but it says not available until 2021 but yet I see people posting about there current shadow plan? When’s the earliest I could get on shadow? And do I actually have to wait until 2021 to use shadow?
Hi, I have an Xbox One controller connected to my Macbook and it’s recognized by shadow, and I already have played a lot with this controller on shadow, but since few days, everything is going wrong with it. The right stick is not working well and when I press RT the camera is going down and when I release it, it is going up alone. When I pull the right stick down, the camera is turning left… Do you have any idea what's going on ? Thank you for any help :)
Originally, my goal was to multitask playing 2 MMO characters (1 on my main PC, and 1 on Shadow PC) I’m getting a weird bug where after I swap out of Shadow PC and back onto my main computer, the computer will register that I’m actually holding the ALT button. So if I try to type W on the computer, it will register it as ALT+W as an example. The only way to fix this is to spam the ALT button repeatedly after each swap but this has became tedious as of late. Is there a known fix to this problem?
I saw that a charge was billed to my credit card but my activation hasn’t happened yet. According to my account page activation won’t occur until July sometime. Does this mean that my activation will happen sooner than expected? Technically I don’t think that you are supposed to charge people until services rendered. At least in California I believe. Just saying.
I've been thinking: Is shadow boost (mensual) is going to be more than 15$ a month. I'm not really sure to pay the annual so for now I will just pay the mensual, and I'm worried for the price, I know the Ultra and infinity plans are coming next year, but, everything can happens. Hope someone can help me with this, Have a nice day!
I've tried refreshing, reinstalling, refreshing again, waiting. Not sure what else to do. This has happened to me twice now, both times following using a Bluetooth controller with the app. I'm using the Android app on a Google Pixel 3A if it matters.
