So I have been using Shadow for awhile now and it has been great but this Thursday apparently my Shadow went belly up. Opened up a ticket on it and was told it needed to be escalated to maintenance. Well not a word from them to this day. I'm just wondering if there is a potential ETA on this issue, I have already had to cancel 2 planned streams due to this issue. Shadow has been stellar up until now, but this customer service is starting to worry me. Regards Joel
Hi all, About 95% of the games I play on Shadow are quite dark and the gamma slider in their settings menus don’t do anything. I’ve installed ReShade thanks to advice from other gamers, but, even if it DOES higher the gamma setting, it’s very difficult for a n00b like myself to set it up properly. Are any of you running into this same problem, or even better, know how to fix this problem?
I’ve recently noticed that my bandwidth usage (Win+Alt+O) is consistently showing me half the max allocated amount. In this particular case I was playing Shadow of War (at 1600p) and showing 30-35mbps (when I have at max 70mbps). If I reduced the maximum to 50mbps (for example), I noticed the bandwidth usage stats would reduce to 20-25mbps - meaning half the actually max amount. This seems strange and I am unable to understand whether this is just a bug with the stats or my bandwidth is really getting cut in half. Anyone else experienced this? Please notice I am pretty sure I was seeing the full bandwidth usage (60-70mbps) when I was playing my previous game a while back,
Every time I use shadow on my laptop all sound from Shadow cuts out after about a minute and is replaced by silence. This happens whether I’m on stable or beta, have high quality audio enabled or disabled. I love using shadow but if I don’t get sound there is no point in using it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've tried refreshing, reinstalling, refreshing again, waiting. Not sure what else to do. This has happened to me twice now, both times following using a Bluetooth controller with the app. I'm using the Android app on a Google Pixel 3A if it matters.
The loading bar for the stream gets to about 80% and just stops moving… the message says wait were almost there but I’ve been trying since 22:00 yesterday.. Im starting think its lying lol. I understand times are difficult but was hoping for a rough timescale so i know wether to stop trying to log in or not
Hello! I've been activated on the 23rd of April, which is awesome ofcourse, but I always get my salary on the 24th. I am sure I can pay on the 23rd as well if not possible… but I think I'd prefer if it could be changed to the 24th, especially since I want to change to a yearly plan.
I have been using Shadow for a while and I never had any issues. However, I think this started more or less recently, I have had big FPS issues in games that I really shouldn’t have any. First it started with WoW, where I can barely get 40-50 fps, and now also with League Of Legends, where I get around 30 fps on teamfights. I have found out that this seems to be because my power settings are set to “Balanced”, If I put it on High Perfomance, it seems to work out well with stable fps in most games. The issue is that I keep changing to High Perfomance but it changes my settings to Balanced automatically. At first I thought it changes them when I close Shadow, but now I changed it to High Perfomance, went into a League game, and when I was done it was back to Balance. I’m really lost on this, I need to have High Perfomance or I barely get 30 fps in games (Which still seems unsual for a high-end PC like Shadow Boost in games like League of Legends and WoW). The new Windows 2020 May update, build 2004. Failed to install on my Shadow 2 times now. It is a big update, it does multiple reboots in the process. But when it looks like it is done, and starts Windows again, there is a small popup saying it could not finish installing the update. In the update history I read this: Maybe this has to do with the 30 minute auto-shutdown? Because this update takes so long? We should do this update ourselves right? Or wil Shadow do this automatically for us?
So I forgot about my shadow and have not used it just over a month, however today is the last day before my bill renews and I am currently trying to cancel yet the option is not there. I have sent support a ticket but I don’t know how long that will take, does anyone know why the option is not there?
So I’ve been using Shadow for a while now, and overall very happy with it. However, there are some moments during my gameplay where I experience a big quality drop, which results in a huge lag spike. Obviously, when this happens in a shooter, it can really mess up your game. Its also not game dependant, as I also play some casual Sea of Thieves, and it happens there as well. I don’t know if its something to do with my connection, but I would like to troubleshoot it somehow. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
It’s hard to describe it but I’ll try. When playing Fallout 4 with a few mods and F4SE on my Shadow the game ran too fast, like CPU cycles or something were faster than the Frame Rate. I try to navigate the menu, the cursor blinks through multiple options and it’s pretty much roulette if I’ll land on the option I wanted. Get to the SPECIAL allocation screen, all the vault boys are rushing through their animations faster than I can process. I hold W to walk from one side of the room to the other, my character’s arms are flailing as their running animation runs but it feels like their sprinting alongside everyone else. Even the loading screen had an issue where the vault tech logo went faster than normal. I’m reinstalling the game to see if that fixes it, I already tried deleting the mods but no luck. If the game works after a clean install, I’ll leave a list of the mods so anyone still curious how it broke can check it out, maybe someone else will have the same issue with the same m
Hi, I am a Shadow Boost subscriber living in FLORIDA. NY is my datacenter. I’ve been frustrated by the high ping on my shadow which happens quite frequently. MY IP is COX and am on 150mbps plan. I am getting ping spikes of 8142ms and it is always more than 1000ms when i’m in game. This is making my gaming experience suck. I’m using a MBP 2015 with mac os Catalina 10.15.5. I’m using it on a 5ghz wifi router although my desk is right beside the router. I have tried trace route on my cmd prompt and am getting ping in range of 40-45ms which is decent, so I don’t understand what the issue is . I’ve tried restarting my router multiple times, rebooting my mac and shadow client to no avail. Can anyone suggest any fix for this problem ? Stay Safe
Hi, Im using shadow for a full year now and since may 2019 im waiting for the opportunity to stock up my storage. for a full year im stuck with 250 gigs of storage and after the system and other essential programms i have around 170 gigs of space. thats ridiculous with game like rdr2. i had hopes for the release of shadow infinite which i preordered, to get the chance of buying some more space. But still no chance at all. Is this normal? im using the center in Amsterdam and my location is Germany. Thx in advance for all help :)
