No Audio / Mouse Pointer Disappearing / Start streaming success rate 10% / Discord verification not working
Hello everyone, First of all, thank you for your time and consideration.I’m using a Mac with Ventura 13.0.1. I’ve already spent 6 hours to make this work properly but just didn’t manager to do it I have the shadow power upgrade package Auto detect gives me 50 Mbps as recommended (did a test through shadow website connection looks great) I tried everything I’m going to write below on Shadow App at first, then Shadow Beta NVIDIA drivers are up to date, Windows 10 is up to date My mouse is a Logitech G502 with USBISSUE 1:Start streaming works 10% of the times, keep getting R108 L104 errors, looked on the forum here, did everything written Once I manage to log onto the streaming, 50% of the times there is no pointer and I need to restart itISSUE 2:The pointer is never shown on full screen mode (if I activate some options on windows with the pointer (for example the one that when you move the pointed to see a trace of the pointer, then suddenly it works) To show the pointed on windowed scre
Hi All, Am really hoping someone on here can help, as I’ve had this issue for a week and tech support have replied twice to say everything looks okay from their end - they’ve not replied for days now and I don’t think they’re going to? I have no sound on Shadow, although sound is working fine on my regular PC. Troubleshooting has concluded that there’s no input/output device available. Reinstalling Nvidia drivers doesn’t help Windows won’t update - it goes through the motions of downloading the updates but on restarting, the updates always fail. Error 0x80070002. I have tried updating the drivers through device manager, but it says they are all up to date. I’ve tried to reinstall the sound devices again but that also doesn’t work (shadow virtual audio device - this device cannot start, code 10) I have also tried switching the audio quality to high - this doesn’t work. Would be grateful if anyone can help with this. Michele :-)
Im struggling to connect to the paris server at the moment after the maintenence and i cant tell if its a me issue or the server issues wondering if anyone has any information or can enlighten me, ive done everything on my end to fix it even reinstalling the application but nothing seems to be working
It’s very unfortunate for me to be coming here and saying this but ever since they allowed storage in Texas and their new update Shadow has really degraded their performances.I have to wait over 24 hours for a response for my ticket and once I get a message back all they did is reboot my PC and it did nothing, it has been another 24 hours since I had a responce from them. Over 72 hours just trying to fix one problemThe lag is insane on this shadow application, 2FPS maxthis isnt local at all, multiple people have complained about this on numerous platforms. I’m tired of waiting for a response for over 24 hours, Im tired of something I pay $600 a year for not working.. I can’t even access the Control panel anymore as it’s not working….. dissapointed in this software.Please fix these problems
I haven't been able to access my Shadow VM for over a week now (member since 2019) due to an “internal billing system conversion for legacy customers”. I have a ticket open and “on hold" with no ETA provided.While I understand issues arise with major backend changes, it's pretty bad when there has been no updates. Could you imagine if your internet provider or Netflix “lost your account” but still billed you and only said “sorry, we are working on it" for over a week? That's pretty unacceptable and I'm really disappointed with Shadow at this point.I'm now asking for help in a public forum because every reply to my ticket has been “sorry, we are trying to figure it out and working it on a case by case basis".
Shadow on Chromebook Question!I have the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook and was wondering if anyone knows any alternative to shadow on Chromebook besides using the android app? I’ve seen some posts of people using the Linux version of shadow for their Chromebook and apparently it’s the greatest thing to use. However I’m a bit confused on how to do all that and was hoping if someone here could direct me in the right direction if possible.

If I read so correctly, you aren’t allowed to touch registry keys. I’m not an expert in all of this, so just want to check if VB Cable is safe. I think it says something about registry’s. I’m not sure if this falls under the same category as what shadow says which is why I’m asking here.
I want to setup shadow on my fireTV cube but I seem to have no way to get the android TV version of shadow apk.I can only download shadow via play store onto my phone and then extract an apk from that. Any chance we can get access to downloadable apks? They don’t have to be officially supported ‘releases’ as I know y’all don’t write for FireTV or any non-google android systems.
Recently I’ve been facing an issue that has been kind of weird because of the fact that 99% of the time Shadow VR has worked by installing the SteamVR application as well as games. I’ve recently however done that and had an issue where I’m not hearing anything in the SteamVR app as well games. Could someone help me that has had this issue or that knows what’s going on.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong subforum or if this has been suggested before. Given the amount of people working from home these days, it might be a good idea to have an option in the shadow app to have a user defined scheduled bandwidth cap. Being able to limit the max bandwidth shadow uses during 9 am to 5 pm for example could be incredibly useful. It can be manually adjusted for now of course, but it would be nice if we could schedule it as well.
So I just got my shadow and I’m using a Dell Laptop I enabled my USB Peripherals to use my laptops built in mic/webcam but it is not picking it up only shadows devices any help would be much appreciated I have tested it on my device and it works just fine, but as soon as I get into my shadow it does not register that its working.

Hello, I have an issue with the entire desktop and a game first it will be 60 frames per second completely smooth and then after about maybe 10 to 15 seconds it just stutters and sorta pixelates maybe 10 15 FPS but when I'm in a game or on the desktop if I click the shadow quick menu and click out of it the FPS goes back to normal and then it does the same thing over and over again. Would anyone know the problem? Thanks in advance
