Welcome to the weekly activation update!

 

Brittaney stepping in here for Ryan as he takes some much-deserved travel to Shadow Island.  Some of you may know me as the former Support Hero, Jaina, but I’ve officially leveled up and am now Ryan’s new partner in crime!  We’re going to have so much fun!

 

We have no new delays this week (yay!) and have made significant process in activations for our Amsterdam and Texas datacenters.  We’ve fulfilled all activations for August 2020 in our Texas datacenter so our team’s now working on making sure the experience is stable and smooth for our current users before they start on activating for September 2020! 

 

As a reminder:

  • Activations take place Monday through Thursday
  • Activations begin at 8am (local time) every day for each datacenter
     

Below is the activation information by datacenter. You can check which datacenter you belong to here. 
 

CHICAGO:

Activations this week:

July 21st - July 22nd* 

If pre-order date is between July 22nd - July 30th:

Activation by end of August 2020 

If pre-order date is July 30th or later:

Activation by end of October 2020

 

*Due to the spike in volume of pre-orders on July 22nd, our team will be activating the remaining pre-orders this week. 

 

TEXAS:

Activations this week:
All activations for August 2020 have been fulfilled! 🎉

If pre-order date is July 30th or later:

Activation by end of September 2020



 

NEW YORK:

Activations this week:

June 16th - June 24th

If pre-order date is between June 24th - July 22nd:

Activation by end of September 2020 (delayed from August 2020)

If pre-order date is between July 22nd - July 29th:
Activation by end of September 2020

If pre-order date is between July 29th - July 30th:
Activation by end of October 2020

If pre-order date is July 30th or later:
Activation by end of November 2020



 

SANTA CLARA:

Activations this week:

July 27th-August 1

If pre-order date is August 1st or later:

Activation by end of September 2020

 


PARIS:
Activations this week:

May 5th - May 8th
If pre-order is between May 8th - May 13th:
Activation by end of August 2020 

If pre-order date is between May 14th - July 22nd:

Activation by end of October 2020 (after May 13rd - June 10th pre-orders)

If pre-order is between July 22nd - July 30th
Activation by end of November 2020

If pre-order date is July 30th or later:
Activation by end of December 2020
 

 

AMSTERDAM:

Activations this week:
June 26th - July 11th

If pre-order date is between July 11th to July 22nd:

Activation by end of August 2020 (after June 26th - July 1st pre-orders)

If pre-order date is July 22nd - July 29th:

Activation by end of September 2020

If pre-order date is July 29th - July 30th:
Activation by end of October 2020
If pre-order date is July 30th or later:
Activation by end of November 2020

I’m by looking at this it looks like ill be activated next week 🙂 i’ve waited a whole month for this. Can’t wait :)

Wait, shouldn’t CHICAGO be 22nd-22nd or 22nd to 23rd? I remember last week we had the same footnote and it said 22nd activations would kick-off but not get completed?

how can Paris be the slowest one of all the servers ?? only from 5th may to 8th may ? are you kidding me ?? all the other servers activate 1 to 2 weeks of pre-order in one week and  Paris server AGAIN only activate 3 days of pre-order in one week  !!!! all the other servers reached June and July orders, for us we are still in May !!

Just how further you want to disappoint us?!

@ElBeutel Have you checked your Subscriptions & Billings tab?  If our team is working on your Shadow’s activation, it should be moved there!

Fast answer pls im from Amsterdam DC i pre order July 9 so I get activated Thursday

I ordered on the 25th of June for the New York DC. The forum says you’re working on activations to the 24th but my order got moved to the subscription tab. Is it possible for me to be activated this week or will it be the beginning of next week?

Yes I’m so excited! I ordered June 23rd and have been patiently waiting every week slowly until it came to my week, thanks Shadow!

I ordered on the 25th of June for the New York DC. The forum says you’re working on activations to the 24th but my order got moved to the subscription tab. Is it possible for me to be activated this week or will it be the beginning of next week?

Any time!  Your billing date will change once your Shadow’s been activated so you’ll be billed on the correct date moving forward!

Haha, that’s my mistake.  I completely forgot to change it but it should be fixed now!

hello brittaney,I've been waiting for my shadow boost to be activated since july 23 and I'm really looking forward to it, it says hope from September, but I'm from Germany sooner, and I've been waiting for quite a long time: / keep pressing your fingers and wanted to ask when it’s finally ready for me? :) I wish you continued good success since you are great :)

Was moved to the subscription tab yesterday for May 9th pre-order date on the Paris DC. God I wish I’ll get lucky and get activated this week, that’d be good timing. How long have I been waiting at this point ? Don’t even know anymore ha ha

Hello 🙂 I ordered July 22. I just see THat there is a range from 11th to 22nd and 22nd to 29th… The first one is still at end of august and the other at end of september. So where am I? 😃 This month, or next month? :)

 

Edit: I have the Server in Amsterdam I think and I understand the system now. So I have answered myself now :)
