That’s right, Additional Storage is now available for
European users!

⚡️ Quick info 

  • Adding additional storage is done in 256 GB (HDD) increments for 2.99€/£ per month.
  • Maximum additional storage increments per account is 8 x 256GB.

  • You must have an active Shadow Boost, Ultra or Infinite account to purchase additional storage.

  • 2 Disks on Shadow:

    • Disk C (SSD, base storage that comes with the configuration)

    • Disk D (HDD additional storage)

Yes! Really needed it for Microsoft Flight Simulator so very glad that it is here!

I am trying to order but the page says ’something went wrong’.

Is it me or you? :)

 

edit: using edge and ublock (extention).

Had to disable ublock to get the order interface to load but after selecting and clicking order I get no more response.

sold out already??? since i don’t see any option to add storage. so another year to wait for additional storage? this is starting to feel like a joke. 

My guess now is that there are too many requests or so.

How it went;

Unsure of the cause still, my network/android device/hosts-blocking, but after some refreshes on a tablet, I managed to select the upgrade and after clicking confirm got to see the confirmation page.

Also, I shutdown windows and restarted/closed the shadow client on the Nvidia Shield after I got to the confirmation page.

sold out already??? since i don’t see any option to add storage. so another year to wait for additional storage? this is starting to feel like a joke. 

Had the same issue the first time I went into my account, only saw the storage that is standard included. After reloading the page a couple of times I was able to order additional storage.

Just keep getting a API error every time I try to confirm

Also get an API error, it says(don't know the correct english for because it's German) but something like my memory data could not load... Any solution? 

When can I expect more storage to buy

Hello, everytime I try to confirm the storage order, it says “An error occured during an API request”. Is there something to do to solve it please ?

How long did you have your shadow turned off..

Have the same issue, annd On/Off methode does not seems to work here.

I have just totally shutdown it then I went to my account management, added the storage, confirmed it and everything worked. 

Btw, the storage was added instantly and my D drive wasn’t reset.

In total, my Shadow was off for like 2 min during the all buying process.

Same for me, was off for maybe 5 mins at most as I made a cuppa to give it time to shutdown before trying to add storage again

Also to clarify you leave it off until you have done with adding the storage it's not just shutdown and start again

is this only available while stock lasts or will it always be available?

Well it's always been while stocks last before and I doubt they have managed to secure a infinite supply of hard drives...

so I have just gone to try and add additional storage to my shadow and when I hit confirm it comes up with an error message saying An Error occurred during an API Request is this meaning that extra storage is no longer available or is it just bugging out?

As has been pointed out in the thread several times now... You need to turn your shadow off or it will show a API error
