this is incorrect, first use shadow ospalg server with sas hard write and ssd cache. sas disks are much faster but unfortunately also much more expensive, these disks are included in RAID, and are more expensive think of 16 tb for 400 euros but then the server and the ssd, s for the cache and then you don't even have the storage server self

Hey what about extra storage in the US! We can’t even hold very many games being stuck on 256GB’s! 

US users asked for more storage too not just EU! 

So you think that these drives just install themselves, don't need housing, maintenance, power, monitoring etc? Just looking at the cost of the initial drive is nonsense. If that was the case my Baker is ripping me off by charging EUR 2,50 for a loaf of bread when the actual ingredients are only around 25 cents.

Oh, and I forgot, they also want a little profit or is that not allowed? 

The bottomline is "take it or leave it" and I see a lot of people (including myself) more than ready to take it

It's more likely a issue with trying to source large ssd drives, which cost a lot more than 50 - 60 € and are not as readily available as the smaller units you can by at retail, HDD drives have been around in larger capacity for years and currently they are cheaper per tb of storage than a equivalent SSD and much more readily available 

Well that was easy. Very pleasantly surprised!! After reading the comments before ordering, I shutdown Shadow, order my additional space, immediately logged back in, and bam, good to go! No loss of data, nada! Thank you!!

so I have just gone to try and add additional storage to my shadow and when I hit confirm it comes up with an error message saying An Error occurred during an API Request is this meaning that extra storage is no longer available or is it just bugging out?

is this only available while stock lasts or will it always be available? 

Same for me, was off for maybe 5 mins at most as I made a cuppa to give it time to shutdown before trying to add storage again

How long did you have your shadow turned off..

Have the same issue, annd On/Off methode does not seems to work here.

I resolved it by turning my shadow off, then it worked for me
