Shadow Update: Week #09 [03/05/2021]

Hey #TeamShadow!  

  

This week, our Dev Team has released various updates to multiple platforms including the Official Desktop application, iOS Beta, and Android Beta.

 

Here are all the changelogs for this week:  

Shadow Official - Desktop

Updates:

  • Streamer: 3.5.13

  • ShadowServicesWatcher: 1.0.11

  • ShadowVirtualAudio: 1.4.4

  • ShadowDumpWindowsDriver: 1.0.0

New:

  • We now filter the display resolutions based on frequencies' limitation

  • Adding 120Hz support for iPads with a resolution of 2388x1668

  • Adding specific encoding to ensure Chromebook support

Fixes:

  • Fix rumble support for DualShock 4 and Xbox controllers

  • Fix of S101 errors that were not displayed properly

  • Fix for LG microphones and headsets issues

Shadow Beta - Android - Launcher v3.6.1

New:

  • We removed the first page of the quick games launch. It will come back in another form later. Moreover, we have reworked the settings, now when you are going to apply a setting, we will update your Shadow directly to avoid conflicts on our side. In addition, we have added two new options, streaming protocol (TCP or UDP) and audio quality.

Shadow Beta - iOS - Launcher v3.6.1

New:

  • Adds the possibility to change the streaming protocol and audio quality from the settings screen.

Fixes:

  • Better management of setting changes.

  • Improved Metal rendering on secondary screens.

  • Fixed occasional blocking on the application.

  • Fixed a bug that made the AirPod’s microphone unusable.
