Hey #TeamShadow!  


In this update on our Official App, we fixed some controller issues and make the USB device sharing option (USB over IP) available for macOS on Big Sur.


Also, with the new tvOS update, we’ve added new settings and fixing a few bugs.


Here are all the changelogs for this week:  

Shadow Official - Desktop - Launcher v4.23.13


  • Shadow Renderer v3.10.11 


  • USB Over IP driver update for macOS. (Don't forget to uninstall the old ones, restart your computer and reinstall the new ones)

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Full support for Xbox Series X|S and DualSense PS5 controllers for Windows.

  • Fixed mapping of SteelSeries Nimbus+ controllers.

  • Fixed a bug related to the microphone feature for Linux.

Shadow Official - tvOS - Launcher v3.6.4


  • Adds the possibility to change the streaming protocol and audio quality from the settings screen.

  • Adding the setting "Maximum Adaptive Bitrate", it's simple, with this new feature, if we detect any instability in your connection, we will reduce the maximum bitrate to always favour the fluidity of the stream. And when your connection becomes stable again, we will restore its initial value. Isn't that nice?

  • Adding a rating system at the end of your sessions.

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Better management of setting changes.

  • Improved Metal rendering.

  • Fixed occasional blocking on the application.

  • Fix of a display bug that kept the progress of your Shadow update at 0%.

  • Shadow Manager v2.3.25 

  • Shadow Processator v2.0.26 

  • Shadow Operator v1.1.15

  • Shadow SystemWatcher v1.1.13

  • Shadow Renderer Desktop v3.10.15; Boxes v3.10.13 

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Remove auto defrag

  • Improve network handling

  • Fix missing stopped metrics

  • Fix to improve GPU consumption metrics

  • More logs to identify bugs

  • Boxes specific

    • Fix the cursor offset

    • Fix the wrong resolution configuration
