Hey #TeamShadow, 

Our Dev Team has been hard at work, just for you, to improve your Shadow experience. This week, we squashed some bugs and made some improvements for the Shadow Official tvOS app and the Beta desktop launcher.   


Here are all the changelogs for this week 👇 



Shadow Official

tvOS - Launcher v3.9.9

Fixes and Improvements:

  • No more prompt to switch to Beta



Shadow Beta

Desktop - Launcher v4.31.8


  • Shadow Overlay v1.15.4

  • Shadow Renderer v4.0.5

New Features:

  • A new theme featuring the new Shadow rebranding

  • Added the choice to change the bandwidth radio when using the local extra screen feature

    • This will allow you to improve the quality on one screen versus the other

  • Improved the display message when detecting a new microphone

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Better responsiveness of the Launcher on macOS

  • Fixed a bug that was blocking Shadow when changing resolutions

  • Better handling of additional screens and keyboard/mouse inputs on Linux

  • Various minor bug and crash fixes

  • Added a modal that warns you which library is missing on Linux to make Shadow work properly

  • Various crash fixes
