Hey #TeamShadow,

Each week, we polish up the Shadow app. This new update for this week contains bug fixes and enhancements for both the Official and the Beta app.

Here are all the changelogs for this week 👇

Shadow Official

Desktop - Launcher v4.31.9

  • Shadow Overlay v1.15.4

  • Shadow Renderer v4.0.5

New Features:

  • A new theme for your beautiful Launcher integrating the new Shadow design.

  • Added the choice of bandwidth ratio to the local add-on screen feature. This will allow you to improve the quality on one screen rather than the other.

  • Improved the display when detecting a new microphone which, according to feedback, was too intrusive.

  • Added a modal that warns you which library is missing on Linux to make Shadow work properly.

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Better responsiveness of the Launcher on macOS.

  • Fixed a bug that was blocking Shadow when changing resolution.

  • Better handling of additional screens and keyboard/mouse inputs on Linux.

  • Various minor bug and crash fixes.

Shadow Beta

  • Shadow Renderer v4.0.7

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Fixed R:300 on Windows related to where your Shadow doesn't start if you have 2 graphics cards

  •  Fixed an issue on Linux where your Shadow doesn't start with error L-100

Android - Launcher v3.10.1

New Features:

  • The Local Secondary Screen option is now available on Android! This is the first step of its implementation, so we'll keep an eye on your feedback on Discord to optimize its functioning in our next updates.

  • Portrait Mode is now available in the app resolution settings.
