Hey there, when you connect it, are you forwarding it as a USB device or simply plugging it in to your host pc to have it picked up automatically in the controllers section of the shadow menu? I found a lot better performance in not forwarding my controllers and just plugging them in and starting shadow, because when forwarding them, I had the exact same issue. D: Hey iamcozy!, The XBOX controller does not automatically connect via the controller section. So I’m having to forward it as a USB device. Does controllers usually connect via controller section? If so, I think it’s technical difficulty on my end.
Hey Simmo! I’ve been playing Modern Warfare for about 1 week, via MacBook Pro. Only played 1 week because of the portability that Shadow PC has provided. In terms of delay, I do notice a little bit of latency here and there but that’s one of the things you kind of have to expect when it comes to cloud/virtual computers. But other than that, the latency occurring here and there does not really affect gameplay.
Hey Nexnux! My first month of Shadow PC was everything I could ask for! I’ve tried various types of cloud computer/cloud gaming services and nothing really comes close. Personally I’ve never tried Parsec gaming before, so I cannot vouch for anything. The other applications I have tried however would be Nvidia Now and Stadia. Of course, when going about and finding the right application for you there will be PROS and CONS to each application. For me personally, I chose Shadow PC because I have more control of what I want. The only real limitation here would be the small GB size for boost services. With Shadow PC, the virtual machine just doesn't compare to Nvidia Now and Stadia. Shadow PC is absolute game changer. Not only I can play games on a MacBook Pro, but I’m able to run other applications such as Adobe. Adobe as you know, could be a little bit heavy for Apple Computer. I always hear my fans running like crazy, so it’s good to know that I can run Adobe via Shadow PC and not hear
Hey TheOneAndOnly2134!, Personally, I use Shadow PC on my MacBook Pro whenever I’m on the go. Since, obviously I cannot bring my entire PC setup with me wherever I go… the portability and the accessibility is really good! Also, with Shadow PC I do not have to worry about anything going crazy while running heavy applications such as Adobe.
Hey Monthybread! It just means that you would not be able to use Shadow PC with that specific launcher that you’re using. After all, Shadow PC is a virtual machine. Not only Shadow PC has this problem, but other cloud gaming services come across this as well. It’s probably just a privacy/security protective matter on the launchers end!
Who are you? - Hello everyone! My name is An! Where do you come from? - I’m from Los Angeles, California! Why do you use Shadow and what is your favorite thing about it? - I use Shadow for the portability. It’s sometime interesting to connect to a smartphone and be on the go. Also, for heavily applications I don’t have to worry about overloading etc. What is your favorite game of all time? - My favorite game of all time would have to be Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. This game was the game that started it all for me. If it weren’t for that game + a XBOX 360, I don’t think I would be much of a gamer. What game did you last complete? - The last game that I’ve completed would be Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s AMAZING! and you guys should definitely check it out! Favorite meme? -
