Hey @nrnoble Nested virtualization is also an issue with security. There are many reasons to disallow this. Unlikely that Shadow will accept those risks in the near future. Thanks. yeah I understand there are limits and any solutions don’t currently exist at a price that is affordable to the current target market (gamers). It is not realistic to setup a $2500 gaming PC in a data center for each subscriber. :)
If you need nested virtualization then you may wish to consider other options that can better address your wishes. Thanks, I am in the process of doing that. I take your comment to mean that Shadow is not considering it anytime soon. As noted in my original post, alternate options would mean I would cancel my subscription to Shadow simply because of the total expense involved.
Thanks for the detailed feedback. I had my Shadow settings to 35Mbps which looked just a good as playing games on my local gaming system. I will experiment with the bandwidth settings to see what level I find acceptable. Normally I never get close to my data usage limit. I can go over, but then I get charged extra for each 50Gb of data over 1.2Tb.I don’t need to use Shadow of all games either, my computer can handle most of 600+ Steam games I have bought dating back to 2005.
