I have two problems/question with the beta shadow app on chromebook.When I’m connected to Shadow and move the mouse (I connnected a mouse on chromebook) it moves very slowly, how can I change that. Changes in the Windows Settings on Shadow don’t work and on the chromebook itself the mouse moves at normal speed. also, How do I access the “in-Shadow-menu” I want to use a microphone for discord, but I can’t set the correct microphone, because I don’t know where/how?Does anyone have any ideas?(I know it’s in beta, but is this a known issue? or is there a workaround, because I can't use it with this slow mouse speed)
So, can you give us more information about, what else will change?Will we get better Hardware soon?Can’t you at least give everyone free upgrade(s) when it comes to storage?the only “new” thing is, that it’s now at OVHCloud…what does that even mean? Does it mean our Shadows will burn down, like it happened back in march at OVHCloud? (main reason: Wood Construction!!!!)Besides that, 4:4:4 will also be a new feature.Is that all? nothing else? does that justify a price increase of 100%?
I had a very similar problem, the way I fixed it was that I found out Windows had, for whatever reason, muted my mic. Shadow actually made a post about how to fix your mic by unmuting it here https://help.shadow.tech/hc/en-gb/articles/360017466214-How-to-Connect-a-Microphone-to-Shadow. They show off exactly what I’m talking about on step 3, and once I unmuted myself, the mic finally worked. They give a step-by-step process on how to reach that specific panel, but the UI seems a little bit different from what’s used now, so I recommend looking up YouTube videos on how to reach exactly where you need to get to. this solved it for me. for some reason the mic was muted.
Would you mind adding the year onto the updates? I’ve been waiting since October 2019 for my Ultra preorder and suspect it will be March/April from the update, but without the year its rather difficult to be sure. You are waiting for Ultra activation which means you have already BOOST, but this forum thread is about BOOST activations.
I still don’t get why US-Datacenters can activate within 1-2 months and EU-Customers have to wait up to 9(!) months for activation. Just got my delay from “End of January” to “End of Febuary” minutes ago - I DO NOT UNDERSTAND - get more employees or optimize your processes or get at least more transparent WHY! “High usage” because of “Cyberpunk” isn’t a real transparent reason for waiting customers! oh, you got that email too?
