So, I’m a blender guy and I use this like a render farm so I can continue to work on stuff. But when I close Shadow, everything turns off and my renders cannot continue. How do I keep shadow running so I can get these renders out. For extra context, I have the setting where you Shadow turns off everytime you close the app off. And I have the actual sleep settings set to never. Would appreciate any feedback, thank you for your time.
I am experiencing a pretty bad audio stuttering on only one of my devices that are connected to the same network at home. So it is pointing me in the direction that it is not network related but something with the computer. What makes it more weird is the fact that it happens on my best/strongest notebook, on other notebook and on android devices there is almost no audio stuttering. I would really appreciate some ideas what I could try.I already tried changing allowed network bandwidth (from 5 - 70 MBps). I have 1000/100 Mbit line.I also tried turning on/off high quality audio, h.265 codec and using beta shadow client. None of that made any significant difference. Any additional ideas maybe?
Hello, I use Shadow on several devices with different resolutions which appears to cause issues with the size of individual square of the grid on the desktop. This makes icons take half the screen and complete mess up the desktop. Only two icons can been seen and the other stack behind each other.This problem is pretty recent, do you experienced it too ? Do you have a solution for it ?Thanks in advance.

I bought this about 2 hours ago. I have not been able to get connected to the ShadowPC. I got the email it was ready. I followed all prompts. When I log in with browser, I complete this process but when it sends me back to the app nothing happens with the launcher.

I have been part of the European Discord server since September last year and people often ask me for optimization guides for their games. Recently I have been working together with a couple of other people on figuring out the break points for Microsoft Flight Simulator. These settings won’t massively boost your FPS but it does provide stability for your game client and a better flight experience.Important note:When using Shadow Boost you should be aware that your FPS is bound to the processor and not your fancy P5000 or GTX 1080 that is assigned to your Shadow.The preparation:Go to Options -> General -> GraphicsFirst thing to do is to remove all the current customizations and preset settings from Microsoft by hitting the F12 Key. Hi there!i’m using shadow from a week or so and i’ve setted my settings in this waythe result is great on my m1 macbook air, i have a gigabit fiber.Anyway i’m still experiencing some video compression on my image, at a totally acceptable level but i’m wondering if maybe there’s some settings that can give a even more smoother experience.
I came back after a few months of inactivity. Every time I’m trying to resubscribe I’m getting “Legacy customers should use our initial interface”What exactly is initial interface? I was looking everywhere for an option to subscribe, nothing. Only preorder option giving me this msg every time.On top of that I found out that power upgrade priority is for people that still were on boost waiting list. I was on Infinite list for months and cancelled after Shadow announced they will not offer Ultra and Infinite anymore.And I was an user since the beginning of Shadow.Now I remember why I cancelled.C’mon man!
Hi I just installed shadow on my mac M1. I have enabled usb forwarding, and when connecting my logitech g25 racing wheel, it detects this, however, it doesnt allow me to tick the box for forwarding. My latency is low, connection speed is good, so everything looks good This is my very first time with shadow so i might be doing something wrong. Can somebody advise please?Thanks
Hello fellow ShadowVRers !Here is the situation : I’ve got Shadow VR working with my Quest 2, now I’d like to be able to play Elite Dangerous … the thing is I need my HOTAS controller in Shadow VR.First thing I tried was to connect through my local PC with the standard Shadow app in order to get the USB forwarding, but of course only one client connexion is allowed, so obviously when I tried to connect through Shadow VR I got kicked out from the PC app and lost USB forwarding.Next I figured I could manually forward some USB devices to my Shadow using some kind of software (which one ?), so I did setup a VPN client to connect my Shadow PC to my local network. Stupid me. Note for later: never *ever* install a Wireguard client on Shadow PC, now I’ve lost connexion and I need to reset to factory settings. Nevertheless maybe a solution using SSH forwarding.So here is my question : is there (or will there be) some standard easy way I did not think of to connect local USB devices to the Shado
Hi All, Am really hoping someone on here can help, as I’ve had this issue for a week and tech support have replied twice to say everything looks okay from their end - they’ve not replied for days now and I don’t think they’re going to? I have no sound on Shadow, although sound is working fine on my regular PC. Troubleshooting has concluded that there’s no input/output device available. Reinstalling Nvidia drivers doesn’t help Windows won’t update - it goes through the motions of downloading the updates but on restarting, the updates always fail. Error 0x80070002. I have tried updating the drivers through device manager, but it says they are all up to date. I’ve tried to reinstall the sound devices again but that also doesn’t work (shadow virtual audio device - this device cannot start, code 10) I have also tried switching the audio quality to high - this doesn’t work. Would be grateful if anyone can help with this. Michele :-)
I was trying to forward my Quest 2 to the redirect list so that it can connect to my shadow but whenever i try to check the check box it bugs out and wont let me check it, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and all that stuff and it still wont work. If anyone has hade the same problem and fixed it please tell me how to fix it.(its not just with the quest 2 its happening for everything including my MnK and other connections)

So at the start of covid issues there was a automatic shutdown instigated if the machine “Thought” it hadnt been used for 30 minutes. Only it was being used and still shut down, if i wan to leave something running then i cant. If i pay for your service why do i keep getting cut off even when my machine is technically in use? can i have longer maybe 2 hours rather than this and detection of login and running process maybe.
