This issue has been driving me nuts for weeks. I love Shadow as a service, but it has been next to impossible to get correct channel surround sound to work till now. The problem is that the native streaming that Shadow uses ONLY sends Stereo metadata to your Device/PC and there is no way of changing that. Even if you select 5.1 sound on your local PC, the surround speakers just replicate the front left and right speakers, even though it shows as a 5.1 input signal on your Receiver. One solution given was to use a 5.1 or 7.1USB DAC and USB Forward the device to the Shadow VM. This seemed to work if the DAC had analog outputs, however, it was very buggy/glitchy and repeatedly cut out when I tried it. As for Dolby Digital Live/DTS Connect DACS, I couldn't get them to work at all. The solution I have discovered is to set up Steam Remote Play just ONCE from your Shadow to your PC or Device (don't worry, you won't actually be using the Steam streaming service in its full form) and this sh
I updated to macOS Monterey (12.0.1) and when I launched the shadow client for the first time after that, I’ve been welcome by an error message saying that the USB drivers were broken and was given the choice to repair or uninstall them. The repair failed, so I uninstalled them but the reinstall fails too.
hello, so they’re is this infamous problem with PSO2NGS that made the game mostly unplayable, is that the game when launched after a minuts or two, get you a message like “Error NP1013”, this error is linked to Nprotect gameguard, it would be great if the Shadow team would contact the Sega team about this, since from what i’ve seen, i’m clearly not alone in that case and i mostly get my shadow for Pso2 ngs, to see that i can’t play it is somewhat awful. but if anyone have a solution to my problem, i would love to heard it, thank you
Describe the bug (required) Upon pressing the media key “next” on my keyboard shadow will consistently skip media with little to no stop (such as YouTube Playlists, Spotify songs, etc)… I can confirm that this is NOT an issue with my actual keyboard as I tested using the key on several occasions on my host PC and did not encounter any issues… This bug has also been present since day one of me using Shadow, I just haven’t got around to reporting this bug until now. I am also not the only Shadow user that has this bug… This is most likely an issue with how Shadow handles input with this key. I run a speed test on fast.com and it brings up around 800 Mbs, but it downloads on Steam intermittently and randomly at 0 MBs, then 1 or 3-5 - then goes to maybe 8 or 20, it hits 70 for maybe a second then stays at 0 for most of the time. Why is it so inconsistent? Is it tied to the disk speed? Is the disk speed particularly slow as actually it took a while to louad some games on occasion. I’m on the base tier, in Manchester currently connected to the London data centre. My latency is about 23ms so perfectly good local internet.
So back a few month's ago my auto dection bitrate sat 60+ MPs but these last few months it's sits at 25-35mbs. If I up the bitrate using the slider I get s..t performance. Has this been an issue for anyone else or have shadow lowered it. I can't play at that crap speed + been a customer for over two years paying the sky high price of infinite.
Send in a help request about the performance of my shadow going down the drain. I got a reply promptly asking me to run some test. I did those, and then nothing. Not further updates from their side for two days. Is this normal?My Shadow's performance remains poor, internet connection is crap.
Hello fellow ShadowVRers !Here is the situation : I’ve got Shadow VR working with my Quest 2, now I’d like to be able to play Elite Dangerous … the thing is I need my HOTAS controller in Shadow VR.First thing I tried was to connect through my local PC with the standard Shadow app in order to get the USB forwarding, but of course only one client connexion is allowed, so obviously when I tried to connect through Shadow VR I got kicked out from the PC app and lost USB forwarding.Next I figured I could manually forward some USB devices to my Shadow using some kind of software (which one ?), so I did setup a VPN client to connect my Shadow PC to my local network. Stupid me. Note for later: never *ever* install a Wireguard client on Shadow PC, now I’ve lost connexion and I need to reset to factory settings. Nevertheless maybe a solution using SSH forwarding.So here is my question : is there (or will there be) some standard easy way I did not think of to connect local USB devices to the Shado
Hello all,after I upgraded to Kubuntu Ubuntu 21.10. Is Shadow a pure disappointment. When I start the luncher with: allow_rgb10_configs=false ~/Downloads/squashfs-root/shadow --no-sandbox. (I can't do anything else right now see: https://github.com/NicolasGuilloux/blade-shadow-beta/issues/53) I get a violent flickering, video then off, video, then off, and that in more 60 frames per second that you get eye cancer. Hello, I Have an Issue with USB Forwarding with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick (All though all Other USB Devices will not forward) This Happened After I Got “Maintenance” On my shadow, it Worked before, but not now. The Maintenance was for Microsoft Flight Simulator Crashing. It Is not Speed or ping as I have tested that, and it worked before. Can Someone Please help me? I Have Also Ordered Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo Flight Controls and I Would like to be able to use them before they arrive. Sorry If this bothered anyone :)

I am entering my third month without Shadow and you're still taking payment and offering no ETA.At the moment, Shadow is stealing my, and other people's, money and not providing a solution. Hey Guys, What is the best resolution to set within the Shadow Launcher.I'm using the 2021 16 Inch Macbook pro, but 1920x1080p looks so small on screen.The aspect ratio of the Macbook is 16:10 instead of 16:9 screens.So the 16:9 (1920x1080) looks a bit stretched.Hopefully a Mac Shadow user can help me out!
