Do you guys plan on doing a hardware upgrade any time soon? Kind of frustrating playing 2 year old games on medium settings and averaging 45 fps
The ratio of my screen is 1920x1200, but shadow puts it to 1920x1080.I tried to change it the following ways:Through NVIDIA Control panel Through the windows display settings Through Shadow control panel, by trying to turn off fit to screen and on again and changing resolution to 1920x1200.All the applied changes show the shadow logo with the set ratio, but it seems to be running twice where the 1920x1080 is set directly after the 1920x1200 so it appear to be run twice. What can I do to solve this? Thanks in advance!
Dallas data center. Shadow Boost. This was also discussed here: This morning, I experienced very poor CPU performance with nothing but Chrome running. Geekbench showed the following: Maximum Frequency: 1.18 GHz BrittaneyFromShadow replied in the post above saying “...at the normal operating frequency of the processor will be under 2.5GHz, but when you use heavy apps or do multitasking the processor can increase the frequency up to 3.4 GHz.” I did not find this to be the case, at all. Running testufo.com in Chrome, I found that it was pegging every CPU core at 100% and the actual test was performing very poorly. Closing Chrome and then running a game (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare) also showed very poor performance while on its main menu screen (approximately 10fps). Closing and re-opening Geekbench while both programs were running, the “Maximum Frequency” continued to stay at 1.18 GHz even while all CPU cores were at 100%. Hello! I orded Shadow Boost around 6 days ago. And i searched through the whole internet for information about Shadow activation times. I read a post that said it was 0 to 15 days. But that was from 2018 so i dont know if that is still the case. On https://account.shadow.tech/order-tracking it will say: “Available in August 2020”. By reading that i was completely confused… Is it 0 to 15 days until activation? Is it activated in 2020? I am really confused and i hope somebody can reply to this with info about account activation. Thanks! (Btw I live in the netherlands, maybe it will help)
Has anyone used Photoshop or mesh building programs on shadow. Just wondering if you see any lag issues or freezing up in the programs.
