Hey guys, i3 2015, 4GB ram Asus 15’ laptop, Puppy Linux on 64GB USB + Internal Hard Drive. About three - four weeks ago I started getting the ‘Error code: R-0x7F’ when hitting ‘Start Now’. I figure a missing dependency, but the libs are there, just not being read right(?). Describe the bug (required) Attempt to launch shadow (both normally and in safe mode). Program opens at start-up screen saver however is completely unresponsive to both mouse and keyboard (cursor intermittently appears in window but clicking doesn’t bring a response) Opened shadow quick menue and can see connection is open (Connection check says great, bandwidth over 20Mbps, latency <25ms). Hi guys, I have the problem mentioned in the title. When scrolling with two fingers on my touchpad whilst using Shadow, the scroll is way more sensitive than on my physical computer. Within windows on my shadow I chose the setting to only scroll 1 line at a time. Nevertheless, it feels like the setting is at 10 lines at a time. Does anybody experience something similar or perhaps have a solution for this? Thanks in advance, Ra
I recently found one issue related to the cursor/mouse capture in the Mac shadow client. When I am playing the game, I found sometimes when I am holding the left key on the mouse, I can not move at all and even can’t press keys on the keyboard. And the reason I found on my several Macs is, in the cursor locked mode, when my cursor is touching the window borader (even in the full screen mode), the cursor will naturally change to the resizing mouse, and if I press, hold the left click right now and then move, whole keys will be stuck and cannot move. I tried to contact the support team, but they said they don’t have such issue. So I post here to see whether you guys met the same issue and have any solutions. (Have tried disable the trackpad, enable AEserver, they both don’t work)
On my Oculus Quest 2 I’m unable to start my VR stream. Was working just fine a few days ago. It starts off by saying “Starting VR Stream”, but for whatever reason it then goes to “Starting Desktop Stream”. And boots into the 2D desktop version were your device will not be detected. I’ve seen my shadow update and install the required environment drivers. I’ve also tried reinstalling the Shadow VR Alpha. I’m certain at this point there’s an issue on the backend of Shadow with their environment drivers. Other solutions I’ve read from support/staff suggest resetting the entire machine. But I believe this is due to the fact the environment drivers are buggy and developers can’t pin point the issue. I wouldn’t want to lose my ~1TB of data I have on my Shadow Client. Purchasing a third party app such as virtual desktop is a flawed solution. I want to use the native app that Shadow has created. This is very frustrated as a end user. Since November my microphone has been causing significant issues. I’ve tried every configuration based on google searches, redit, the forums here and technical support to no avail. When I connect to the shadow PC my microphone will work and the audio will be in sync. So for example, if I test audio in dicord and or voice record I can hear my voice instantly as I speak. If I go play a game or browse the web while on the shadow PC the audio will slowly become out of synce. When playing a game it will be so out of sync it’s unusable. I verify this by tabbing out of the game and try voice recorder and speak. I will see no input registered. I can verify the timing are in excess of 10, 20, 30 seconds before the input is registered. The only work around, which is not really a work around and is unacceptabel for a game, is to alt tab out of my games and disable then reenable the microphone. Since I activated my Shadow, I haven’t been able to use my Dualshock 4 controller via Bluetooth, it has only worked with a wired USB connection. The controller is recognized within Shadow when it’s connected via Bluetooth, but it just doesn’t do anything. No inputs from the controller work. Has anyone else on Mac had this problem? Hey. I keep getting the same issue when I try to login. 60% of the time my connection attempt times out with error L104. 35% actually connects but shows just a black screen with no options. 5% works flawlessly as it used to, great game performance. I am on Windows 10, Surface Book connected to Samsung TV, Ethernet, latency under 25ms, speed over 200mb. Have tried reinstalling the app, using the beta one, changing different settings, raising multiple tickets to support.. nothing seems to help, any ideas? I have the same issue when I use the Android app on my phone. Thanks in advance for any input.Sergio

Hi everyone! My Shadow PC got activated yesterday and unfortunately I'm already experiencing problems. It seems like Shadow is running fine with 60 FPS and ~30ms latency, but I'm receiving a very, very laggy and blurred image and can't really use my Shadow at all. I'm pretty sure that this problem is somehow related to my WIFI-settings, but I can't figure it out. Before ordering I ran the speed-test to my data-center (Amsterdam) and got download speeds of ~150mbit/s. I repeated this test multiple times over the last few hours and get a horrible connection to Amsterdam now, which probably causes this problem. I tried switching my connection to 5ghz but that didn't help either.Amsterdam However, if I do speed-tests for Paris or even the US data-centers, my download speed is still > 100mbit/s. Also, Shadow runs fine on my Android when using mobile data and even runs okay-ish (packet-loss) when using a VPN on PC.ParisSilicon Valley So my WIFI download speed is only this low for Amsterda
I’m using Shadow via my nvidia Shield. I’ve never had any real problems with it before this.I recently took my shield to my gf’s place so we could play Mortal Kombat. She has a 1080p tv, so I had to change my normal 4k resolution to match the tv. Now, back on my tv, the display settings menu in windows won’t detect 4k as my “native” resolution, and so everything looks strange and kind of laggy - jittery game play, mouse kind of drags, stuff like that.Resolution in the shadow menu is set to 4k, as is the Shield and the tv itself. Everything matches, except that it won’t recognize the native resolution correctly anymore, and it seems to dislike that. I’ve tried changing the resolution back and forth in display settings and in the shadow options menu, in hopes that it would renegotiate between the two display settings. I mainly play games with WASD movement and mouse guided aim / camera. This works great from MacOS or Windows, but not as much for iPadOS. When I use a USB hub for USB keyboard, mouse, and headset, the mouse sensitivity is so high the games are unplayable. The other peripherals work seamlessly. Is there a setting either for the iPad app or within Windows on my Shadow which might help for this?
I am soooooooo close to having my Shadow running perfectly… Actually, the cloud PC itself is working perfectly. No crashing, errors, etc. What I am having a problem with is the launcher suddenly not working. It’s there, but nothing suddenly operates. Can’t even restart or end stream. No erros. No warnings. Nothing seen in Windows on my end or on the Shadow. NOTHING. Any idea what this may be?? My internet is extremely solid and reliable with constant 100down/11up averages. There’s nothing wrong with my local machine or internet at all. That can be ruled out. What’s going on with the launcher?
