Every time I log into shadow I have to go into then display settings and manually change the resolution, sometimes more than once before it switches over. However when I close the stream but don’t actually turn off shadow it stays the same resolution.
Currently, when I touch my screen on my tablet while logged onto Shadow it simply minimizes my windows and brings me to the desktop. In other words: I am not able to scroll via touch or use menu buttons in games with touch.Is there a way around this? I have seen e.g. a streamer use the touch function on his iPad.
Everywhere I look I get a different explanation for error A-468.I am an established customer and use my Shadow every day, so this is not an activation error, or shouldn’t be. Can someone in Shadow support post a detailed explanation of this error or tell me why I can’t get to my Shadow today? I connect to the Dallas data center.
Anyone else having problems with Steam VR not detecting Oculus Quest 2 headset after Steam updated their app last Friday? I belive Shadow`s software (Alpha) is not corresponding with Steam`s new software update. Any suggestions? Appreciate all the help as I currently can not access the VR stream but only the 2D desktop. Ps: I know many are using Virtual Desktop – but until now I have been very happy using Alpha. And not interested going through the hassle of using AirLink – as my experience so far is Alpha should do the job with out any “extra” (VD and AirLink). Thanks guys! Best regards, Kevin
Hey, got shadow yesterday for the first time and can’t say I am massively impressed at the moment, seem to be getting lots of lag from what I can see, not sure if it’s my equipment I’m using or my internet connection or it just the way shadow is, running shadow through my nvidia shield and my TV, spoke to shadow and they said it could be the shield as it’s not fully compatible at the moment, anyone else using this device and working perfectly?, I’ve switched my TV to game mode that doesn’t improve things either, if I have to go and buy different equipment to get the perfect shadow experience I will but just seeing if anyone has any reasons what it could be, might be a easy fix out there, thanks for ya help.
With dex on a new android phone. The screen blurrs when I turn my character in a game. Otherwise peripherals are working fine. Any suggestions? The guy at best buy suggested a dex branded Hdmi to usbc. Currently I am using a 100 dollar hub. Internet connection is strong. There is definitely some problem with video encoding or something...
I am getting more and more unhappy with this service. First off why am i paying monthly for something that i can’t always access? Yesterday i was notified that too many users were on for me to access the computer that im paying for, secondly today i start off with A-599 saying i dont have a internet connect which if false, and now that it finally realized that i do indeed have internet it is giving me this error. Please help or i would like my next month free.
I am using shadow on a 2019 mac running catalina 10.15.7. Last night i had an issue in shadow while trying to open a game - the computer froze. So i opened the shadow menu and closed shadow - waited for a few minutes before opening again. When i tried to open again it tried to load in to shadow but failed. After that point its been saying that “shadow is off”. I tried the turn off shadow from the help menu method countless times with no result. I also reseted shadow from my account page with no result. Uninstalled the app and re-downloaded with no result. Tried to run shadow from my android (both with wireless and cellular network) with no result. After all that i reached out to support last night and the person i was emailing with reseted my shadow from his end with no result. Since this morning ive sent an email to the same ticket with no response so i opened a new ticket. Since 12 in the morning ive been waiting for a response for the new ticket as well. Can anybody help?
Says shadow is ready.When I click start now.It connects and then with a few seconds disconnects with error code: Error code: R-109 I tried closing shadow and restarting.It’s updated to latest.Tried restarting my mac.Tried resetting settings.I tried with ethernet and wireless connection
I have had a strange positional issue with my mouse on shadow for about 3 weeks now. I was hoping an update would fix it but it seems to be sticking around.While I have my mouse locked into the window I have no issues and everything works well. but if I unlock my mouse the position of the mouse is off horizontally from the left by half. The cursor visibly looks to be in the correct spot but the shadow does not click in the correct areas If I hold my mouse in the middle of the screen the shadow thinks the cursor is half the distance from the left. If I hold my mouse on the far right it thinks the cursor is in the middle If I hold my mouse on the far left side, It is almost correct. Just ordered a month shadow boost, it shows I can access it in 3 working days, but I saw the activation update says they paused the activation. So what’s the situation? Can I access shadow in 3 working days?(I bought this for halo infinite beta and battlefield 2042 beta)
My mouse will randomly disappear from the screen. I use my shadow for gaming and I've had this issue happen in every game I have tried. The mouse appears to still be there as I can move it around and see it highlighting things. The only way I have found to get the mouse cursor back is using the windows shortcut for the shadow overlay. When I toggle that, the mouse comes back for awhile but then disappears after some play time. Anyone have any ideas?
I recently side loaded (via SideQuest) Shadow VR, and got it up and running. So my shadow £17.99 after 2 and a bit years is now nearly double the price monthly £32.50. With it seems no increase in specs or service at all and an outstanding upgrade dating from 2019.How is a doubled cost justified by the company when there is no addition of service or specs? What price is expected for the ‘elusive, upgrade that was £24.99?… £50? Your present customers weren't given options with your new pricing or a range of plans for customers. Just an agree to this price or service will terminate at end of billing cycle. Thanks for coming now off you go. I for one am disappointed and look forward to any reply
